actually the main reason i don't like 2142 is the unlocks. grenade pun kena unlock and also my poor friend yg pakai x300 takleh main those 64player maps. what i do like, is flying the air transport and landing on really tall buildings =D or even seeing how far up i can go you should try this, fly REALLY REALLLLLLY high, then jump out, then halfway down jump back in

besides, we're thinking of setting up a teamspeak server, i'll get back to you on that. if the organizer doesnt provide a server, i'll teach you how to install & run the server from your own PC so you can still chat with your friennds sitting far away

btw, you fellas won't be catching in me in no derby, since i cant play the game T_T

i think he was talking more about using it for pickup games. sounds interesting, if you want to bring it up with the organizers, Shah, maybe you could. if not i'll talk to them about it when i check with the them about the teamspeak server.

depends on the settings mate, if you use the uber 25.7kBps settings for digital VoIP quality of course it'll be huge. but if you use the 7.2kBps speex codec its much more manageable besides, we've got 100mBps anyways the TS servers are for those games where you want to talk with your teams, or just chat with your mates, and need your hands free to do other stuff (which is almost any real time game).

its either hot OR noisy. i'm a conservative overclocker 64C on the cpu if priming, and 60C from the GPU on 3d benching

its a naked casing, which is what makes it noisy when i set the fan to max.

looks like i'm late but i couldnt read jack after 30hours of gaming and no sleep, until i got to rest a bit on the way home from cyberjaya at one of those highway stops. even now my eyes are threatening to close

i asked damien about it, he told me what the amd poeple were looking for was the higher end procs, and if you are using an ati card. if there was no one with the proc that was using ati, then the highest proc would've won.

but as one of our fellas was saying, its like going up to a Ferrari going to an owner of one of their cars and saying "hey, since you are using our car, here, have an even better souped up version. now you have 2!" instead of finding the poor shmucks (myself included, with my pitiful socket A athlon, and the many others that might be running even older amd procs), and helping us get back in touch with the wonders of modern amd technology.

actually, he asked who is using AMD X2, not AMD. if just AMD alone i would've stood too, no love for Socket A's man, wtf!?
