to the fellas looking for a mouse, if you're on a budget, check out the mx518 logitech. pretty good for a cheap mouse, i too look mainly for comfort when buying a mouse it has enough buttons (honestly, who needs more than 3 or 4, just nice for the number of fingers you have

depending on how you hold it though, some mice which have 2 thumb buttons will be difficult to press, and you might only be able to press one of them.

well, it would be a waste to get an expensive one if he plans to change mobos anyways after getting whatever proc from the LAN party. unless he's not planning to, only then would it make sense to get a good one so that it will last.

memang pon. it all works out, sebab PC mak aku rosak, so lepas aku upgrade nak letak pc lama aku ngan TV as a HTPC for her to use for emails and stuff.

plus you can see my specs in my sig anyways pc3200 = ddr400, or in my case, ddr450

too much work la, nanti takleh tahan 38hours, then no proc pulak getting the rest of the gear only when i have the proc in hand

yeh, i know that mate. i'm just saying, hypothetically since his pc is fine now, that if he was to get an expensive 939 board, what would be the point, since we'll be getting AM2+ procs after the LAN party. it would be logical to get a cheap 939 board, then pakai habis, and sell off while getting an AM2+ board for the new proc. of course, the point is moot now since it was le PSU

However, my soltek board is indeed rather cheap, it hasnt given up on me so far, ever since i got it in 2006. of course, i know how to change the caps, so thats a different issue it comes down to quality, rather than bloated names like DFI.

as for change, once we have those lovely procs that they're going to give us (i hope its a PhII! ) i'm definitely moving onwards to bigger and better things, like finally playing GRID and NFSU! =D

he was asking me to go PC fair on friday, thats the thing i malas la go there, buy stuff, come home, then drive up, sure mati before saturday is over.

you can get an extension cable for around rm10-15. i got mine at Ace hardware in MV. your local hardware shop might have it cheaper.
