yea man... those of the 80's childhood toys really brought back some good old memories. I remembered i was lying on the floor of JAYA Jusco when my dad refuse to buy a zoids for me.

If you mean the old Jaya Jusco in Taman Tun, yeah, they had this awesome display in the middle of the toys department that I would just stand there and stare at it.

I found this in the bargain bin of Parkson the Mall. Last box...going for a grand price of RM49.90! LOL!

But they still have some zoids blox available, Gonjulas, Iron Kong, Red Horn and others RM19.90 each.

Actually the reason I went into Gundams is because Gundams don't take up much space when compared to Zoids. (Ultrasauras. I loved that kit, but had to give it away when I moved house.. T___T)

But the new Koto kits are extremely detailed but the price tags also very beautiful.... (Damn you economic crisis!!!!)

laugh.gif  That's a serious possibility bro! Ask her to sponsor you a new display cabinet!  biggrin.gif

but seriously, once your little baby comes along, you MUST get a proper cabinet soon,
before the little angel starts to walk/crawl. firstly, to protect your baby from the zoids;
secondly, to protect the zoids from the baby!  laugh.gif

Ya, zoids got many spiky parts and baby got many itchy fingers laugh.gif

Solution : Quickly invest in one of those mini vacs. You're gonna have to start brushing off those zoids.

I'm assuming you leave them in the open? I left some of my Gundams in the open and I can really see a thick layer of dust. Of course Gundams don't have motors so much easier to clean...

I also guess you're busy in real life so your best bet is to clean in stages. Go from Shelf to shelf. Cleaning the Zoids and then the shelf space. (We'll be glad to help, heheh....)

Can't finish in a day? Continue the next time. That's how I clean my open air display stuff. (My work room is next to the kitchen...imagine grime and dust on the gunpla...really icky stuff....)

I usually take a few days to clean because half the time is spent admiring "WOW, so clean already!" and then playing with them before putting them back in the shelf....LOL!

After weeks of delay, I managed to snap fit this the G2 Rex Zoid blox. (I was on a Transporter + Death race marathon...Jason Statham rocks flex.gif ) Was planning to top coat it and weather it here and there but the weather these days is so hot just feel lazy to do anything laugh.gif

And this monster is pretty fragile. Rough play by a kid will easily break this thing apart...It's pretty much a display piece.

QUOTE(zoidbliss @ Apr 24 2009, 11:48 AM)
actually, i bought my Bite Griffon speciafically for my nephew to play.  smile.gif but i don't combine them, the 3 neoblox stay separate, and i found the joints quite sturdy. but have to supervise the playing, to fix back the occasionally drop-off pieces.  biggrin.gif  now, he owns all my Legend Blox, Bite Griffon, Bio Tyranno and Bio Tricera (my nephew say thanks, bro ahtiven!  laugh.gif )
*
I wanted to get the Bite griffon but the colours was a turn off (my skill still noobie to create custom colours sweat.gif ). Yup, individually, I think the Blox have sturdy joints. But once combined, certain parts don't really snap into each other comfortably (eg, there is this armour piece on the forearm, it will drop off if I mess around with pose and all, but it goes back easily).

Me thinks because when combined it's all about looking cool and not for actual play. laugh.gif

I think, they will fit if you know how to design it yourself. It's just that the designers of the G2 Rex and Bite Griffon thought about cool factor first, playability next, LOL!

Duke that is one mean look G2 Rex. I dont own any Neo Bloxes maybe due to non-motorized. I own Normal NJR blox for fusing purposes. I heard neoblox joints are quite strong unless the parts are heavy it would just be droopy.

Faiz: Dont yu just love the Red Canopy?

One i really like is my SL Limited Blox
user posted image

Yup, the joints are pretty stiff. I was worried that the Rex would topple over because it's actually quite heavy. But the leg joints and the ankle joints are pretty tough. There's nothing supporting Rex except his 2 feet.

QUOTE(zoidbliss @ Apr 24 2009, 02:26 PM)
Agreed, because if you follow the instruction to combine, some armor pieces are bound to get loose when played. but i believe it's fun for
the kids to play as they see fit. like my nephew who swap their heads, tails and weapons around; combining different upper and lower half,
it's meant to be played with. but for kids, you've to supervise lah, small pieces, spiky pieces...

rider, can't see the pic?
Ed, though i only have the Buster Eagle to compare to, from what i see, the neoblox joint is much better than the blox,
pity they didn't come out with better designs other than the LB series.  laugh.gif
*
Agreed. The pieces are very small. Nothing I would trust kids under 5 with. When I'm abit free, I'll try swapping the Gojulas Head for the Raptor Head. laugh.gif

ya it is old skool sticker. its just I prefer sticker with "no step", "warning", "armed", "danger"  biggrin.gif

Ya, I like the warning, danger stickers too. To bad Neo Blox doesn't come with any stickers... sad.gif
