QUOTE(riderTEKRAN @ Jul 3 2009, 12:14 PM) @Ahtiven, Edmaestro: Yes. Had to brighten up the picture a bit otherwise the Talk bubbles would be too bright. Still learning the photoedit software as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the colours to come out right on the camera. Bright Blue Gilvader horns? What the *TOOT*?! ah sure can. But I've been busy lately with wedding and stuff. Just let me know when/where, I'll come to take photo of your zoids Request to official Zoids photographer, bro Faizzaki: Need your professional advice on doing model photoshoots on a budget! The digital camera I have does not have a Macro setting. But it was free, so I'm not complaining. Bro Kindredd's probably writing the script for the movie to be shot at the next Malaysian Zoiders meet. That was a fun, fun day. you don't need macro setting, zoids a really big for macro. if you using compact camera try to use portrait mode or if you want to give a try on Manual mode, it will help you a lot to understand photography. ![]() Example from above photo. this is called detail shot. It only focus on certain part of the zoids (weapon and dragon's jaw) instead of the whole figure. So, I put the aperture value of f4.0 . notice that the gun is sharper than the wing. the more lower the aperture value, the more sharper the object and also it will eliminate the background or anything behind to focuses part. tips lower aperture value only good with detail shot but is not good for the full scale portrait photo. unless you are creative with the photography art and you know what you are doing, the you are pro already ! also from the perspective view, I'm shooting from low to high angle. It will make the photo more alive, seems like gildragon is flying ![]() This is whole figure shot of gungy. notice that clean dark background covering the whole area. so meaning, if you want to take the photo of gungy example, try to get a large black clean cloth as background. and yes, large . ratio 1:5 . but the bigger the batter la. tips / gungy is silver , background is black . this is called composition in photography. the subject is contrast with the background another tips, avoid distraction element at the background. that why we need the cloth, as it will cover everything behind the subject. also, it doesn't have to be cloth, paper also can, but it hard to find paper bigger than the zoids. give a try on this one. black gilvader against white background. simple setup ! nothing complex ![]() maybe my homemade studio setting will help you get the idea ![]() another tips is lighting. I have to admit Ed is improving his photo. so, let say if the photo is poor in lighting, try to get another source of light, example table light, place your zoids near window (day only), or even you can try outdoor (provided you can get clean background) QUOTE(buyus15tuyus @ Jul 4 2009, 12:17 AM) Ed, on behalf of rider the camera is fine but is only 5 mp and its mine cannot help much with 5mpx camera. try setting you camera in large size photo as large as u can. and also try to adjust color setting in the camera's menu. or else, photoshop will do the job for you. Yes, photoshop is a compulsory for me as it will boost up my photo.hope this tips will help you guys. feel free to ask more questions. This post has been edited by faizzaki: Jul 6 2009, 12:13 AM |

QUOTE(EDMAESTRO @ Jul 13 2009, 02:50 PM) Use superglue for broken/snapped parts. oh I ddnt know. I normally just use brush and wet cloth. but anyway Nice tips ! Will try out later.Only USE this for WORST CASE SCENARIO If toothpaste wont remove the yellowed parts:- Use Bleach ie Clorrox for stubborn yellowish parts. DO NOT SOAK in BLEACH LIQUID instead use a cloth and dap a little and rub against plastic. After cleaning remember to wash the plastic with water. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OJR Deathpion QUOTE(EDMAESTRO @ Jul 13 2009, 02:50 PM) I love the detail for each hmm zoids. nice posting ED |
