received my Irvine custom CW today, pretty excited...EXCEPT im not sure if its from toy-wave or from the postage service but the box was pretty damn damaged and the instruction manual is all crinkled and damaged,
luckily i couldnt find any problem with the actual parts upon inspection

quite disappointed
AWESOME ZOID THOUGH lol

wah so fast! Grats on your fantastic limited grabs. Hopefully this limited dont end up like the HMM Empire Wolf short of production rendered it pricey.

Box damage aaaarggh! i feel u buddy. I hate it when my zoids box damaged.
Btw, i would say partly your fault and the postage. tongue.gif sorry
First, I bet you chose "Normal Packing" - just normal wrapped without box = 25% probability of damage)
Second, HK postman pick up = 10% probability damage
Third, Air cargo cramp = 5% probability damage
Finally local delivery = 10% probability damage

I know toywave has few option for boxed delivery tongue.gif i learn from my mistakes....

One advise, whenever it comes to HMM delivery choose pack in BOX, it will crumple from the top down. HMM has very very soft sufface box unlike the usual Takara Tomy Zoids boxes.

Cryonic, if it says TOMY JAPAN you wont be buying at that price! hehehe You should be glad it got reissued by TDP known for their identical reissue. If you really are particular about it being CHINA, try to get the OJR you will 'FEEL' the difference.

You really take good photos of your work in progresss SALUTE! Keep it up hope to see more of those work! It is really detailed! Its quite funny at the end where the pilot poses !

Here i just want to show u a few customs i really like

No HMM does not have a motor BUT they have high articulation than the normal zoids. They are meant to pose with glamor.

You are looking at:
Gorem: RM500
Deathpion RM300

Some news on HMM, there will be new parts release. Some clear parts, chrome parts and extra parts.
Borrowed this from ZP
Looks like a Tag pendant of Guardian Force For release on July.
July 26 will have HMM options:
Silver Plated Breaker Blades
Caps for Blade Liger/Geno Saurer
Caps for Wolf/Molga
Clear Blue parts for Shield Liger

It says the warshark moves quite well in water.... wah!!!

Cryonic, i know those were the days. Hard earn money from our parents, imagine how they would feel looking at RM40 and RM200 zoids. Even now being a father soon, looking at RM50 hurts.

The reason why i dont want to put a MAX Bid is im a very cheapskate fella. I want it to be as low as possibly be and i fear people will keep bidding until they outbid my max bid if not close to my max bid. Well thats how auction goes. I need a faster connection and a better Snipe Riffle.

Ahtiven: too much credit from you..... i'm merely letting them into my lion's den.

OMG Cryonic this is ONE HELL OF A SWEET REVIEW. You basically cover everything from big chunks to the smallest chunks. Never have I seen a review that detail for a single zoids. I have done many review but nothing close to the one you just did. I also like the Deathpion history and its 1/24 counterparts. You also mentioned the dude behind the reissue of the 1/24 scales. Very good indeed. I hope you can keep doing the review like this, keep it that way. One thing to note about doing zoids review which most of zoiders do are comparison between variants, not just the unit itself but even the box; their identity card. If one would sell a zoids with a box and manual would probably pack a punch in the value of it.

There is one very beat up OJR Deathpion on ebay, sad.

Gudam76: Glad that you are happy. Wish you could have more time at my house but it was getting late, there are many other zoids which i could show. Plain viewing zoids without fondling them just isn't enough, appreciating zoids one must flip the switch and watch it animate to life.

ed, two chrome gilvys???!... wuhuuuuuu... nice review by the way... i also agree w u that the engine bit should be chromed... still, a very sexy piece of zoid...

just wondering, why doesn't mechadioz take the parts off the sprues, and then chrome them, because if not, when u cut off the parts, doesn't it leave that tiny part that isn't chromed?... but then, i guess only occ ppl like me would be bugged by that.. ;p
*
Well I myself prefer to have the parts still on the sprue. I think some modellers are able to remove the whites after cutting.
