Hmm... I didn't know it came with all the CP units? I eBay-ed and found KZ Liger 0 BIN at 71usd and separate CP units BIN at 65usd each.

Let me present to you guys, my ultimate Zoids purchase of 2010!!


Cho-kyu kikai juh-ohZOIDS

Front - Indicating both are from the Republic (hence the Helic color theme on Sabre?) and some chinese writing.


Back - There are 3 figures in total (image scanned from official TOMY arts)



The caps don't fit well, so the legs tend to fall often. The extra squareboxes are supposed to light up the canopy/eyes. Both didn't work, as expected. They are glued to the seats, the glue dried up so it fell when I opened up the cockpits lol. Talk about cheap stuff.

Sabre Tiger doesn't come with the windscreen/canopy and missing one cap on the right hind leg, Shield Liger's canopy is dull translucent green. No it doesn't glow in the dark. Both of them do not stand on all 4 feet. Poor quality control from Cho-kyu kikai juh-oh.

The scale is true to 1/72 scale, 99% similarity in designs compared to TOMY Zoids. The only major differences are the weird color scheme and poor plastic quality.

I think they make cool display among my other Zoids HAHA. Now where to get the Cho-kyu kikai juh-oh Dibison to complete this... Zoids series?

These are definitely cheaper than official Zoids and of course that explains the poor quality/packaging/paintjobs/etc.

I couldn't find any online store selling these bootleg Zoids, best bet now is to hunt them locally at brick-and-mortar shops. Best would be around Asian region as these were produced from China? :/

Funny as Transformers collectors usually detest bootlegs even they are 99% exactly the same. And here we are reading the shortest bootleg Zoids review. lol

Buy to keep and sell if there is an emergency? Does that work? Not like Zoids is a good investment though, compared to Transformers; due to demand.

OJR caps are harder to come by, best is to post on the Scraps and Parts request thread in ZP/Pheno.

Check out eBay every now and then, pile of misc Zoids parts tend to show up, I think.

I forgot which episode, he appeared in flashback only though.

Anyway went to The Curve this noon, met Mr. Yap again.... and you know the next thing's going to happen is carrying a big plastic with Zoids boxes. LOL

Got the NJR Redler built complete with manual and sticker, Zoids2 Red Wing was put into the picture cos I wanted to show the different box arts between the two.. I guess..

Kinda regret that I sold my Bio Zoids lot, feel like wanting them all back >.< And should have gotten the 3 ligers back then when they were readily available. T_T

Before meeting Yap though, I went to Amcorp Mall to do COD with Famitoy/Mr. Kok, and finally I've got myself Berserk Fuhrer as well! I've to admit, been wanting this kit for a while already and it popped up on eBay.com.my so I BIN it... even with the marked up price.



Now my wallet needs to recuperate....

Awesome grab on OJR Neptune bro! I simple glued it with plastic bonder called Vital Fix I grabbed from nearby Ace Hardware. It doesn't really bond.. it still tends to sway downwards due to natural gravitational force. Guess I've to live up with it.

EDIT: Okay, been eyeing on this complete set of Zoids DVD... but USD305.50 is not the price I can afford for DVDs... the first auction of this complete set went 265+USD as well. Oh well, I am fine with the... illegal ones.

It's definitely be HMM Zoids year.. I don't think Revoltech can do any impact to 'revive' Zoids.
