Let's put it this way - they provide a service for you if you're not bothered about it. It's like hiring a maid - you can do it yourself or you can pay someone to do it for you. The reason why SUPEX gets people irritated is because they, err...,choose to ignore some facts. The core of their selling is based on conventional home loan (those you pay a fix amount for). Flexi-loans gets them flubbered  . They take your existing loan, negotiate a lower rate for you, show you how much you'll save in the long term, and charge some $$$, based on the amount you would have saved (not sure whether it's valid now, it was a long time ago).
