David May is legendary in celebrating any trophy.

Phil Babb, hmm the legendary accident with the goal post?

Di Matteo played for Chelsea mate, Dominique Matteo played for us tongue.gif We also had who I consider to be one of our best rightbacks, Rob Jones. Phil Babb may have played for us but in no way will I consider him to be "legendary". David May on the other hand won titles after signing from Blackburn.

yup.. sry bout that mate.

it is a truth that during the 70s,80s and early 90s, the fans supported man utd because of united tradition . munich 58 , busby babes, denis law , bobby charlton , george best and potentially the biggest and greatest of them all , duncan edwards who many believe would have been england most capped player and would have lifted England winning Jules Rimet  world cup as captain instead of bobby moore if not for the air disaster in munich.

into the 21st century now , as man utd had been successful , you can say many follow the win(d) and  trend although many older fans still luv and proud of and will always remember the club tradition and history

united is also a football club famous for its pin-up boy image in George Best ,Beckham and C. Ronaldo . coincidentally , all 3 could play good football.

needless to say ,liverpool is a club noted for its football tradition and history. bill shankly did the turning point for liverpool history and it makes me sad even as a non liverpool fans to know he has problem with his beloved club after  his retirement from football .i remember i always view liverpool as a club who play under paisley as playing very professionally in getting the required scores results during the late 70s and early 80s .although i am a fan of united , i could recalled fondly kevin keegan, alan kennedy, ian callaghan etc. i always watch on TV in awed and admiration your ian rush who to me is the greatest goal poacher and predator of all time and aldridge too.for all those who worship torres , he's not even close yet when compare to rush. many may not be aware Graeme Souness is the hardest and most tenacious player with the hardest tackles there is which type is lost forever in the game now. thats why i sometimes view gerard and carrick to be a little sissy for my liking

all due respect to other club in england , man utd and liverpool will forever be compared with against each other for years to come

fowler should be mention as well. =) GOD.
