Mistake or not mistake, the one that scored the goal must still make an effort to capitalise the mistake, if not there won't be a goal either.

Remember, Liverpool lost of MU 4-0 season back? Because of Hyppia mistake (sending off early) as well.

Last night, Liverpool definitely deserved the win, which most pundits are agree with it. It is not like old days of Liverpool under G.Houlleir that play ultra-defensive, then hoop the ball to front, then hoping strikers outpace opponent defender then win 1-0.

Liverpool this season won double over MU, Chelsea, and won 1 against Arsenal, but lost of relegation battle team, Tottenham, Boro, and drew 0-0 with bottom half table team like Stoke, Fulham, West Ham. This sum up the inconsistent form which prevent Liverpool at top of the table.

Just add another point, Liverpool "plays from behind" again. laugh.gif

how can a 1-4 scoreline being labelled as lucky win then, 1-0 may be, Aurelio freekick also a lucky shot? Deflected? Torres goal also lucky not to hit the post?

So those recent winning streak (11 matches or so, don't quite remember) by MU with bulk of scoreline 1-0 also lucky win? whistling.gif
No offence.

A win is a win, a loss is a loss, just get over it. Every team got patch of good form and bad form.

Just notice who ever come out to rant or saying bad to other team in the media first, consequences is loss or poor form.

Previously, Rafa suddenly rant a lot in the media when Liverpool topped the table, after then lose the top spot, and string of poor form and drew game.
Real Madrid players said will kill off Liverpool in second leg, eventually lose 4-0
MU, Rooney said hate Liverpool, then lose 1-4.

So media is jinx. biggrin.gif

We drew with them... your statement will only come true if we can beat them in May  laugh.gif

I read a funny comment in TeamTalk...Rafa said we can beat anyone and someone posted there "you can lose to anyone too.Eg mboro."  So true..

This statement is definitely true.

The different between MU and Liverpool is that MU when play with lower team, 80% chance you knows they will beat them. But for Liverpool, you need to wait until they turn up during the match, only know they can beat them or not. Inconsistently is the main problem, that's where Liverpool need to improve on. Just like during 80's, everytime Liverpool met with lower team, don't need to anxious to look at the scoreline, an 1-0 or 2-0 was always being expected, (just like what MU achieved recent few years).

What separate MU and Liverpool in the league table highlight the main problem of Liverpool, ie. consistency.
Actually it is quite puzzling as well, you put up almost the same team, but performance can be way out sometimes.

now, the only thing LFC needs to do is to stay undefeated until EPL ends, hoping that Chelsea and ManUtd lost at least 2 games for LFC to claim the EPL Silverware...
though it looked impossible with ManUtd have a game in hand, as anyone wud say, nothing is impossible in a football match...
but, if LFC stays in the top 3 position, i dont really mind as my mind now is set on ECL...
winning the ECL is far more sweeter as the title goes, Eu Champion...
the Champion amongst Eu Champs....

Not exactly. Liverpool only loss 2 league games for this season, the problem is not because of loss, the problem is too many draw with mid-table team!

Stay undefeated is not enough, you draw the remaining 9 games, still undefeated, right? wink.gif biggrin.gif

Although still got hope, the problem is I also can't see Liverpool get maximum 27 points out of 9 games remaining. Some draw is expected. wink.gif sad.gif

So even MU slips up a few games, still it is daunting task for Liverpool to win the league. Also goal difference is much inferior compared to MU and Chelsea, so with at same points, Liverpool still lose out. Better goal difference work like extra 1 point i.e level with point is still not good enough to top MU, need at least 1 points more.

Prove me wrong, Liverpool.
