any comments on the quality of staffs on your pharmacy school? UCSI is really having a big problem in getting services from qualified, experienced lecturers. We are always lost them to other schools. Too bad, not all newly employed lecturers able to teach well although they may have the qualification.

QUOTE(cutebubbles @ May 2 2011, 12:42 AM) hey how are the experiments for pharmacy ? are they hard ? and do u have practical examinations for experiments? cos i kinda have shakey hands ><" i had practical examination on compounding on last semester n current semester. it was a nightmare during practical examination. i got to read the prescription, adjust the dose, identify the incompatibility, write the procedure, write the label and finally, prepare the product. Added on May 2, 2011, 10:22 amQUOTE(zstan @ Apr 30 2011, 11:42 PM) dear seniors, how do you remember which drug can be dispensed in what form(i.e tablets, injections, syrup etc). By plain memorising? why you need to remember that? This post has been edited by patricktiew: May 2 2011, 10:22 AM

QUOTE(darrenbb @ May 9 2011, 11:12 PM) should i take physics or biology in stpm? i got A+ in physics and A- in biology for spm i like to study physics compared to biology but afraid that biology is compulsory for pharmacy in degree level is it okay for me to take physics in stpm, skipping biology? :S U still need biology esp physiology knowledge in pharmacy. But it doesnt mean that u cant survive in pharmacy if u din take biology. Just that u nid work harder when u study physiology.

QUOTE(limeuu @ Aug 16 2011, 11:28 PM) first of all, recognition is by the moh, NOT jpa....... second, there is no doubt all local programmes WILL be recognised.....unless you blatantly and openly contravene the rules, like cucms......... thrid, the list strangely recognised pharmacy from uni of adelaide, which does not have a pharmacy programme......! I don't think that the programme will be approved without the helps from JPA. Being recognised by Pharmaceutical Services Division is due to the entrance of JPA Scholars into the degree programme. Without this action, those university will not listed in the list. It is impossible for JPA to send their scholars to a university to study a degree programme which not recognised by the goverment (JPA is part of the goverment) esp programme like pharmacy and medicine. I'm not sure about the degree from University of Adelaide as I'm not concern about it.

QUOTE(zeluver94 @ Sep 7 2011, 10:34 PM) Is MAHSA's MPharm any good? =2+2 with Liverpool John Moores University, UK. MAHSA's offers BPharm too. But the first batch just started this year. Furthermore, The Dean of Pharmacy of MAHSA was the the President of the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. He is quite an influential person in the "pharmacy world". Chances are the BPharm from MAHSA will be recognised by the pharmacy board, not 100% though. It'll still be risky. *the BPharm offered by MAHSA is the cheapest BPharm in Malaysia (private) So, should I enroll myself into MAHSA or....? Also, Lecturers or facilities of the Pharmacy faculty. Which is more important? Preferably choose a well-established Uni for B. Pharm. U still have IMU, Monash, CUCMS, UCSI, AIMST in Malaysia. May I know the tuition fees for the programme in MAHSA?
