hmm...so does that means imu which they studying locally without twinning one is not recognised by the government? since it doesn't state at this website : http://202.144.202.76/pharmacy_portal/inde...100&parentid=10. btw,the university of portsmouth is cheaper than the university of sunderland for the pharmacy course???both till master but why fee of pharmacy at U of sunderland is 6.8k+(pound) and fee for university of portsmouth is just 3k+(pound)??or did i read wrongly for the fee at U of portsmouth??

QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 12 2010, 02:40 PM) for UoS..the percentage of getting in should be slightly above moderate? must u go to UK for sub-par quality education? even with BCC??also slightly above moderate??cause i heard tat alot of pro student go to UoS nowadays...so is much more competitive....oh...i just receive an email from my agent and he said...unless there are extra places left...if not UoS will not accept me...>.<....so guys..can give me suggestion on which course should i take?? of coz the minimum requirement is BCC and it's science (chemistry and biology) related course. any idea?? thank you.

QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 12 2010, 05:21 PM) that's like saying, if u wan study economics, go London School of Economics or Wharton study and work there better. but of course, when the reality of money and results kick in, you need to settle for some other things which are not the best. errr...so u 100% want to go UK irregardless of the course?not sure about nursing at UK though. hmmm....i prefer going to uk cause all the courses starts on september. >.<...and i don't want to waste any time anymore...btw...when i go to see the biotechnology/biomedical/nutrition requirements at the UCAS website...some need better requirement than pharmacy...so let say if i plan to go for nutrition/biotechnology/biomedical course in UK,will BCC achieve the minimum requirement?? cause i don't think i ever see the requirement for those course to be so low...if there is,mind tell me the name of the university?? I'm really lost now cause not sure whether UoS will accept me or not...thank you. Added on August 12, 2010, 9:27 pmnursing is my last option....>.<..lol.... QUOTE(sandrateoh @ Aug 12 2010, 09:53 PM) @Angelpoli Hi,u sure UoS dun wan to take u d?i got offer from UoS but its too expensive for me,risky if the currency went high..now currency is low, still ok..if next year went high then i will stuck thr d..if u have the money,go for UoS M.Pharm lo..fess ard rm150k for 4 yrs.. hmmm...i not sure....my agent said "You will be considered if there is still place left during clearing."...cause i din did well in my A-level.....so i actually really want to go to UoS...>.<....so i'll just prepare for the worst and start applying other course...and if miracles happen....i'll surely go to UoS if they accept me... QUOTE(loveless90 @ Aug 12 2010, 10:23 PM) @sandrateoh hmmm are u sure its only about RM150k? I just browsed thru the uni's webpage and its around 50k per year (considering exchange rate of 1=RM 5 la). So it should be more than just RM150k. hmmm...i tink he mean less ard rm150k for 4 years compared to other uni.....not about rm150k. Added on August 12, 2010, 11:02 pmbtw.....can someone explain what is the difference between pharmacy and pharmaceutical science??? and which uni famous in pharmaceutical science??ty. QUOTE(zstan @ Aug 13 2010, 12:17 AM) waste time? u rushing for what? u cannot compare like this.. the requirements to enter biotech at cambridge sure higher than that to enter pharmacy at maybe UoS.... BCC is ok if u not aiming those top uni.. ic....cuz i already plan to join the september intake at the first place....thats why i choose the A-level january intake...so if i cant make it in september....it'll be pointless joining A-level january intake...so now i'm making my desicion on biomedical science, pharmaceautical science, biotech, nutrition and i dunno which to choose....>.<.....i guess i should make a poll and let others help me choose??lol...i know it sounds stupid letting other decide my future...
