More news:
Apple will upgrade the next-gen iPhone's camera to 3.2-megapixels, according to market sources in Asia. Manufacturer OmniVision is believed to have won the Apple contract to supply the 3.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor used in the smartphone, which would be a step up from the 2-megapixel unit in both the original iPhone and iPhone 3G. According to the report, OmniVision will also be supplying Apple with a 5-megapixel CMOS image sensor for use in a product set for release later in 2009. No details have been given about the nature of this product, which could be a further iPhone iteration or the much-rumored Apple MID. The report is, obviously, uncorroborated by Apple themselves, and as with any iPhone supplier rumor should be taken with a pinch of salt. However it is fair to assume that the camera will be one of the main areas of change for the next-gen iPhone, which is expected to be announced in June this year. QUOTE(Antraz @ May 29 2009, 05:32 PM) hello guys i understand what you ppl are saying but i jus come here to know more bout the iphone n i came in n saw like 1 million thread n post of this phone..so i taught i would be was just to go into the thread which has a OS 3.0 title since i was looking at that..but this thread also has like 31 pages..gila who got so much time to read all of that so i decided to ask some question n seek some answer..instead of answering my simple question with a few words you gave me lecture on how lazy i was then link here link there..i think it would take less time to give me a simple answer me rather than doing all that.. First of, you acknowledge you're lazy on your first post. Well, i took time to answer your queries. Then with your latest post, you ask why linked you to those threads? Let me ask you this...Was it wrong to provide you the links? What you did not understand with those links provided? Any problems with those links if i may ask? Hard to understand? Answers are not there? How simple do you want it to be? This post has been edited by davidgary73: May 29 2009, 05:43 PM |

QUOTE(Antraz @ May 29 2009, 05:47 PM) no their fine..and thank you btw..but i get a feeling that ppl stepping on me just because im new here and im 'lazy' to read..is not on purpose that i wan a quick answer but i ddint have a choice..you guys have been keeping up with this forum for a long period of time..can die la if i go through 1 by 1.. Well, most of us took time to read those threads and we were once new like you. All it takes is for you to read and you don't have to read it at once. Read it on your own time and leisure. Most of use have gone thru threads with tons of post and we don't complain mate. Also, the pinned threads or threads made were created to facilitate those queries as it's always updated with the current news etc. Another thing you can do is to use the search function. It helps heaps. This post has been edited by davidgary73: May 29 2009, 06:00 PM |

Now, Safari on iPhone. JavaScript benchmark performed on current iPhone OS in 126 seconds. 3X on iPhone OS 3. Support for HTTP streaming audio and video -- automatically determines best quality for your connection. Auto-fill support for usernames, passwords, and contact information (contact info comes from Address Book).
HTML5 support as well -- Apple has been pushing the standard. Now, Languages -- even more languages (Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, Korean, Thai) -- users can easily switch between languages thanks to the software-based keyboard. All supported on both portrait and landscape keyboard layouts. Find My iPhone is available to MobileMe customers -- it's a service. You can login to MobileMe on any browser and see where your phone is on a Google Map. If your phone really is lost or stolen, you can send it a remote wipe command that will delete all of your data (mail, contacts, etc). If you do find the phone, it will be restored from a backup. @selinix Correct. Using iPhone as modem. Super cool This post has been edited by davidgary73: Jun 9 2009, 02:09 AM |

There’s Peer to Peer support, too. Peer to Peer can automatically find another player in close proximity and connect your seamlessly.
APIs. In App Purchase first. You can use it in magazine subscriptions to renew your magazine, or buy additional game packs for your games. Business terms for in-app purchase are the same as App Store purchases, a 30-70 cut. Accessories can work through the Dock connector or Bluetooth. Can use standard protocols or build custom protocols. Next, Maps. Developers can embed Google Maps easily into their applications (including custom annotations, geocoding, etc). Turn-by-turn direction apps supported. Next, Push notifications. Push notifications can include pop-up alerts, sounds, and App icon badges. Final demo -- Line6 and Planet Waves. Together they are working on a solution to control your guitar and amp from your iPhone.
![]() show how easy it is to switch between settings on an amp and guitar. You can also change the tuning of the guitar strings without tuning them in the physical world. You just change them in the app. This post has been edited by davidgary73: Jun 9 2009, 02:42 AM |
