Nope, because Malaysia rail track is narrower than Shinkansen, top speed will be 160 km/h

Japanese Shinkansen top speeds are 270 km/h, 300 km/h, 260 km/h, 275 km/h.....

Just that, when we build a tunnel that is larger than Shinkansen tunnels, it is easier for us to upgrade it to bullet train, if we want to, without building another tunnel...
