apple sheep will still think it's great. It's getting to minimalistic for its own good. Now we have to go out and get specific earphones for this? Sigh. Control on left side like that makes it heavy one sided. Joggers will really find this annoying when it bounces about as they use it while running.

Nope. This is a step back as far as I see it. The previous shuffle is still better. The voice still sounds robotic. It's a far cry from the awesome nike+ipod voice.

guys guys,why complain something is small when you dont intend to get it? it appeals to other groups of people who are in the market for ultra portability. No point complaining about something that you'll never get for yourself,if its small and tiny or you'll lose it,get the classic,see different people different preference.

apple lately really kinda go wrong direction.. and they lately wan to 'cut-off' all those buttons. do u see the new imac which with a mini-keyboard (without numeric keypad).. ouch.. *but of cos u can choose to have normal keyboard if u want*

seems like this year and apple is concentrating on chopping and chopping haha. less is more.

Simplicity and minimalism, that's special about Apple.

Let's just get to reality. No matter how many people complain and whine what's hot and not on this new iPod shuffle, this product still sells.

If it's cheaper I think i'm getting one

309 quite nice price...but hope apple will release a external controller..if some music expert wanna use other headphone or earphone will be quite headche

Itunes generates the "voice" and it's different between the Mac and Windows versions.

Sigh... I wonder if I can use any other earphones with this new shuffle. Am attracted to the design. But if really cannot use other brand earphones, I would not buy it.
