Planning to buy mini netbook/notebook with wireless access. I prefer perfomance & durability over design. Smaller the better but not too small, a laptop that allows me to carry everywhere with no fuzz. Any reliable brand. Budget 1k-2k. Other specification like built-in webcam can consider bonus.

Brand : Any brand which has reliable customer service, good quality control, safety policies.
Budget : below 3k if possible
Spec : I'm very heavy-use user, it will soon be my primary PC (will have to left my desktop behind when i'm in KL). I'm not into gaming, but i use a lot of monster eating RAM like Photoshop. I'm also a photographer, usually will have to edit multiple large scale photos that could suck up a lot of my memory - can be very painful if it lags halfway or hang. I will also need large widescreen LCD screen(preferably with high resolution size) for my photos. Reasonable battery life as well. Suitable for architecture student as well. Need to be wireless ready.
Size : Size doesn't matter if performance and screen size comes in mind.

Is there any other brand which offer cheaper than Studio 15? I need my laptop to be: Hi Def WideScreen LCD (at least 1600x900 resolution) + vivid screen colours - a must haveat least 4GB RAM - Core 2 Duo processor - Vista-64bit - more than 300 GB space - my minimum performance specLAN wireless antenna - a must havecard reader slot - bonuscamera - bonusspeakers - i don't give shitafter customizing studio 15, the price is 3.6k, it's a little over my budget.

QUOTE(astria @ Sep 27 2009, 05:30 PM) juz the monitor requirement already limit u to Studio 15 pretty much... most laptops in the market now are either 1366x768 or 1920x1080... seldom u see sth in between... Well, the resolution the bigger the better in this case. QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Sep 27 2009, 05:38 PM) with those resolution and budget, pretty much inspiron 14, studio 14, and studio 15 unlikely I will go for inspiron 14 and studio 14 - checked those, any other brands offers slightly the same as studio 15 in terms of spec?
