I really like this look and there's something vintage and cool about it, where can I find these collar pins?

Haven't seen it anywhere so far, but if I am off rounding shops I'll keep an eye on it. XD

In 1990's i bought one which is a collar bar. It just slips between the collars under the tie. It cost only RM22. Still have it but the color is not gold now. I got it from Tie Shop. Yes the current tie shop that has a lot of branches. I think you can get it from them. They also have self tie bow ties. And real cravats, not those clip on ones. I also saw they have tie pins last month. Good luck in getting one Jind86.

The former is of matte silk or probably grossgrain, sadly, since it is hard to match with modern tux while the latter is of very old designs.

I wouldn't poke a pin right there unless it's an eyelet collar. Some say that it wouldn't leave a mark but I guess you'll have to poke at the same point in order not to damage the interlacing.
Some collar pins look just like normal safety pins.

There is this version where you screw the ends at the end of the bar. But you need collars that has special holes for it. Very looonnng time ago, i saw Isetan Lot 10 have this shirts. That time they had the rounded collars too. Damn cun at RM259. But that was looonnng ago la.

Some collar bar I thrifted from ebay. I find that knit ties and collar bars work well together as the knitted tie steps down the formality of the collar bar. Forget about the red sweater. I hate it as well. Used to wear it with my gray half-zipped stand-up collar sweater but couldn't find it in my closet. Anyway I think a collar bar/pin hardly works without a jacket/vest or sweater.

Nice find, calvinloke. Goes well with that four-in-hand indeed.

Hey, I saw collor pin listed on the product page of my tie shop. By the way, jind what is the selling point of your slim silk tie? I've got one friend interested in getting one.
