You can get mega digimon on the non-pendulum, but forgot how.
But only in ver 1 and 2, ver 1 got Jijimon (ppl say oldmanmon) and ver 2 got skullmammothmon (ppl say skullmon or elephantmon)
both shoot skull, and wont lose ever...haha
at that time my friend's bro study at japan, can read japanese sites, and got the infos from him

and I also remember the trick to use pencil on the circuit to bypass the clock, can superspeed the growth by pressing the third button.

its not myth.
myths are bs like button inputs to kill opponents digimon after battle or "poison" your opponent
and its not some glitch like monzaemon with meramon head, its perfectly doable without glitching the device

if you got japanese friends or friends who knows japanese, can try and ask him to search for the infos.maybe still got
at that time all sites are geocities and angelfire, I remember very well...haha

my friend's brother was the one who gave us all the info, cos he knows japanese.
there was trading cards with infos on the digimons at the back of the card, with website link.
the link is how you know how to get the digimons.
but for Jijimon and SkullMammothmon, theres only 'clues', which japanese ppl figured out and post on forums and their geocities page.


but like I said, only on V1 and V2.
iirc, the secret digimons can digivolve from the any of the ultimates.


at that time, I dont think they want to label the secret digimons as mega.
which makes ppl hard to believe they exist, cos ppl thought "meh, non pendulum vpet where got mega digimons?"

I never succeeded getting Jijimon, but my bro 2 times got SkullMammothmon on his V2.
Also remember parading around the kampung to show off the rare digimon, even its not mine...haha

and I think that one is one of the glitch out digimon

I searched, but nvr found how to get jijimon on v1.

but the digimon mini vpet v1, the spiritual successor to original vpet v1, to get omnimon(secret digimon) from wargreymon, you need to battle 100 times.
maybe on the v1 also need to battle 100 times to get jijimon?

and be careful, I think got limit to battle in a day
cos too much battle can cause them to die @.@

so long didnt play this..haha
left 3 device only, v0 pendulum, pendulum cycle and wonderswan.
wonderswan use as my scapegoat battle..haha.
