a question.

my sister didnt pay p1 for about 8 months.. last time pay at august 2010.

she didnt inform bcause she thought they will auto-cut the line and the bills if havent pay as previously p1 will cut off if u delay payment for more than 1 months.. she's been using her friend streamyx..  her friend left the house.. now she wants to continue but the bills is about rm900++
btw in august the contract already ended.

why is this happening? shudnt they just cut off the bills and the internet if its not in use or unpaid for 1months?

i hear the p1max is the best broadband? It isn't?

the new modem doesn't require any sort of positioning to face towers anymore is that right?

yea u mean the peak and off peak time rite?
plus wouldn't it b great if there was such a way as to know when alot of ppl are on whichever area?
so that we can know and not just b bothered with slow speeds without knowing y

I am just subscribed the P1 One plan 129 which have a big modem and small wiggy modem.
I staying at Menjalara 12 flr, using big modem is quite stable.

But really frustrated with the small wiggy modem  :
1. Go to 1 of the shop in SS2 (got p1 coverage), but the line really bad, the facebook webpage just keep loading and loading...
2. Go to 1 of the office building in Metro Prima (got p1 coverage), but the line really bad, the facebook webpage just keep loading and loading...
3. Go to Starhill Gallery (got p1 coverage), but the internet can't connect at all.

All those 3 places have no problem if i am using Maxis broadband.

if p1 exceeds quota will bar my connection? or juz cap? coz i call the operator said exceed quota so kena barred.

I suspect  my area broadcast station antenna is COOKED!!
Any ideas? Don't ask me about the modem. I already went to service centre and exchanged. Even though my previous modem WAS fine.

For the last 3 weeks, I am experiencing this problem where all my downloads stop abruptly half way! I have tried Firefox, IE, Opera and even Chrome and it's the same. Any idea why this happening?

I called them up several times too and just as you mentioned, none of them can explain to me why this happens. Yet they say absolutely no problem with their stations!

This does not happen to small sized files...anything above 100mb stops abruptly and the message at the download bar at Chrome says 'download interupted'.

I am wondering if its anyway to edit the DNS setting in the modem configuration admin page. I tried but couldn't find any. I am using DX230 modem. Thanks!

Setting on my pc/devices would not work. Still cant bypass the blocked fi;esharing sites.

I just got p1 wimax 1 week ago. web browsing is fine, but when it comes to online gaming , it always lag and connection interrupted!

can sum1 explain to me why? soemthing to do with the modem? . and please dun tell me to go get streamyx/unify as i have been using friend's p1 wimax and been playing with it with no lag at all.

u sure? i tried most of the time and the result still the same.

but. . . my friend's p1 can play with no connnection interrupted in every 15 seconds. the modem is old version compared to mine (4G). Did i miss something? .

was sounds like i need to connect using the cable to get improvement?
