Hmmmmmmmm....... I think we should start a LYN Fight Club or MMA Club, where we can meet weekly to spar with UFC Lite rules.
We can probably rent some place with ready mats, like in Bangsar Sports Centre (cheap!) or PUchong Bandar Puteri. *UFC should mean MMA and not just TKD. More interesting mah... *Lite meaning not FULL contact, but Lite contact. E.g. once choke/lock applied, must straight away submit, like in Judo/JiuJitSu/Gayong/Wushu class. Another E.g. People drop out because of injury while training....
It's pretty normal..... not done intentionally. But for Ken's case.... he was suspended becos of steroids. c'mon... a guy in his mid 40s and still competing in combat sports with young guys, OF COURSE he's on steroids. Ken Shamrock should retire like 10 years ago. BTW, when u guys wanna have frenly spar lah? Let's make it happen. |

I went to TNT kick boxing the other day in hartamas, the instructor dam effin rude...
He chased me out after 5 mins saying they only allow ppl to see see for 5 minutes...... but during the time i was there, all i saw was how they warmup with stretching etc.... it's exactly same like taekwondo..... didn't get chance to see how they train kickboxing, they halau me wtf..... damn effin rude. |

u dont have problem with dislocation shoulder when u try to throw full punch? I also try to do weight lifting to strengthen my shoulder, my shoulder are muscled better than last time, but still can dislocated... sigh, u got any specialist to suggest? man i wanna fix this up...

Read this testimony by my gym mate here: "i busted my right knee again while playing basketball on monday and my right knee was double the size of my left. ill be sitting out on the coming wed class as well. oh! through this ordeal, i came across a superb Tit Tar master! let me elaborate a lil... injury on monday but went to 1 random tit tar on tuesday which did the whole works on my knee, from acupuncture to the 'urut' to a round glass thingie that sucks on your skin... whole process took me 3 frigging hours (excruciatingly painful). told me to come back everyday for a week (RM55 each session). the following day my right leg was constricted from the thigh to the ball of my foot. a colleague recommended me to this tit tar master in sri petaling (requires booking) i kinda went w/o any bookings but was lucky that he had a free time slot. he said my injury was due to my spine alignment not my knees. he even polaroids the picture for me to see (b4 n after). all it took him was 20 mins of swift, kung-fu movements on my leg n back and i was back on my feet walking normally... miraculous!! but there's a price... cost me RM350! but well worth it as he mentions i need not revisit him a 2nd time. the first guy guy i went to requires me to revisit him another 5-6 times which would have rounded up to the same amount. btw he didnt pay me for any advertising if you must know... just that if you have sustained any injury, i would highly recommend this guy to you." |

bro, u got any contact or address? sri petaling so huge area... but mine is dislocated, even I manage to put in back i still can feel the joint was drop around 1cm compare to my left shoulder... i've seen tit tar like Oriental, serendah, sri gombak(near chunghwa skool) all told me nit surgery...

If you are purely striking (MT), get boxing gloves... MMA gloves are like that because of the grappling aspect of the game. But this also means the gloves are not as thick, can easy cut people open. You are not doing grappling... stick to boxing gloves. 'cos it looks cool is not a good reason. |

crop cop has good defence on the ground.
Most strikers use BJJ as defence only. Last i heard, crop cop is nursing a knee injury.... should be back soon next month or so.  Mirko is now recovering from his Knee opperation from doctor Hudetza Damir, who has made a complete reconstruction of the right knee. The opperation was deemed a success, and predicts that Mirko could rally up to four months insted of the predicted 6 months! Mirko was able to give a few words.... "In May, should begin with training, and in June a new plan to fight," says Filipovic.  i see pringles sauce |

CC has always had knee problems... just like Frank Mir.

yea lor.. i talked to d boxing coach... 5x1 hour classes 125 usd...
wherelse normal classes is 75usd 1 month... can go for all d mma bjj muay thai classes... so i thought since i m paying 75usd n going for bjj... might as well go for mma since free..zzz neway... guys... ultimate fighter s9e5 is out already! |

OMFG... i am so disappointed with US. Not only are they all amateurs, they are not even disciplined with cutting weight and some of them even fainted wtf ??? Team Uk on the other hand, those guys can fight !!! and worst of all, team US' top pick (the only person who i think can fight) just got KTFO. Cutting weight is easy lah.... i can cut 1kg in an hour...

Rashad defeated bisping, forrest, chuck liddell... all who are top dogs in that division. To me, a great fighter is determined by who he has fought, not how pretty his record is. Take for example cung le, he is 7-0, but he fought nobodies.... and now he's even reluctant to defend his belt, i think they gonna stripped him of the title soon... cos he's more interested in an acting career. Machida's biggest win was against BJ Penn..... and this was in 2005, 4 years ago... not to mention BJ Penn is a lightweight. BIG difference my friend. I support wandy, cos wandy is the last man i want to fight... he's too intimidating. When he stands opposite u in the ring spinning his fists, you're fcuked !!! who will win? i dunno... too hard to call. But of course i support wandy..... but if wandy loses, it simply means he is past his prime. shorter reach doesn't mean ownage. shorter reach hits harder on the inside... and it depends how the opponent is controlling with his jabs and making use of his reach. Sean sherk is a bad example... he is not a striker at all. He has lotsa critics saying he can't strike and he wanted to prove them wrong..... but end up, he just proved them right. i think sean sherk is imba... he cant kick for nuts... his upper body is so buffed up and over sized... he can only box n wrestle...but his hands r short.. so i recon only wrestle ground n pound...
i think wanderlei is a more complete fighter but his time is long gone... stuck in pride... |

Weak in throwing punches, and combination of kicking & punching. Reason I've stop doing it for awhile is because I left Subang after my studies, and I'm back to my hometown now. I do continue with my physical conditioning daily though. except for fighting techniques (no one to guide me, and train with). Bought a TWINS's MMA glove, but too bad, only use it a few times, still a virgin glove. MMA conditioning is really tough, I'm looking forward to train with the same instructor again, as he is by far the best I've came by. He was an ex-marines in the US, Japanese Jujitsu Black belt holder. a real fighter IMO. GSP is my favourite after MIRKO CRO COP. |

"Who knows," White said. "He's obviously contractually obligated to fight (with Affliction). Once that's over, we'll figure it out." UFC officials have met with Emelianenko and his representatives multiple times. I have no doubt in my mind fedor will murder brock lesnar...
anyone with a decent guard (ppl good on their backs) will give brock trouble. Antonio Nogueira can beat brock lesnar... but he must be healthy and on form lah, not the sick and blind antonio Nogueira we saw fighting mir (nog was as sick as a dog, he had staph infection during that fight). Nog will be able to submit brock in his back. As for fedor, cannot even compare... Striking-Fedor BJJ-Fedor Sambo-Fedor Speed- Fedor Chin-Fedor Punching power- Fedor Ask anyone who ever got punched by fedor, they'll tell u that's the hardest they ever got hit. Fedor's takedown defence is also a hundred times better than mir and randy couture's..... I don't think lesnar can take fedor down.... and if he does, fedor can easily sweep or submit him from the bottom. Fedor owns in all areas..... i don't see fedor losing this fight. |

We've seen so many times wrestlers and BJJers trying to prove that they can box.... but they all failed....
first was Sean Sherk, then Joe Stevenson and now Frank Mir joins the list of failed boxers bandwagon. the only wrestler who was successful to transition into a boxer is rashad evans. Frank Mir should have played it safe and stick to what got him where he is today, BJJ. Frank Mir should should have sticked to what made him beat Brock lesnar... Submission. Not boxing, moron....... worst performance ever. |

barnett is currently back to pro wrestling in japan...
Safe to say he'll never fight again in US due to strict testing. He will fight in japan forever. As for fedor, it's been a roller coaster ride last few days, but UFC is supposed to make a press conference today for some "BIG" announcement..... which can mean he successfully signed fedor to UFC... but i doubt it as i've been following every hour and the contract negotiations doesn't look too good. |

Ok.... a lil slow update....
UFC has failed to sign fedor after Dana White was so determined to do it. He said he tried his best but there's nothing much he can do.... blame M-1 (fedor's org/company). M-1 won't sign the contract unless UFC co-promote (meaning, 50% of UFC's earnings go to M-1)... i think this is ridiculous.... just becos they contribute one fighter and they demand so much money. UFC was reported to having offered - 6 fights, 30 million contract (meaning 5 million per fight) - Allowing fedor to continue participating in sambo - Fedor can wear as many M-1 logo as he like - an immediate title shot with current UFC heavyweight champ - a cut from ppv's profit on top of fedor's guaranteed pay (5M) it was later revealed that UFC did not offer 5M per fight, rather, around the region of 2M per fight... Which is still pretty high considering the others even the best are getting paid around 200 or 300k ish per fight. Fedor is offered x10 that amount.... still, M-1 declines the offer unless UFC agrees to co-promote. It would seem that Fedor would be too expensive for any org to sign.... blame it on M-1 |

i am pretty disappointed.... The UFC middleweight champion didn’t need his interpreter to tell him that his knockout win Saturday over Forrest Griffin would only crank up the calls for a dream matchup against Lyoto Machida. So as soon as Silva heard “Machida” -- the name of a friend, occasional training partner and UFC 205-pound titleholder -- at the UFC 101 postfight news conference, he began dismissing the possibility of ever fighting him. Then UFC President Dana White intervened. “These two are friends,” White said, quick to remark on the matter before Silva. “It has nothing to do with friendship. It’s about who’s the best. It’s about competing against somebody else, no different than a basketball game or a football game. If Anderson gets to that point where he starts taking out 205-pounders, I’ll make that fight. I promise you, I’ll make that fight.” White turned to Silva and Ed Soares, the Brazilian’s manager and interpreter. “Go ahead,” he told them, half-jokingly. “What’d you want to say?” Everyone laughed. Everyone waited. Silva answered in Portuguese, which Soares translated: “Lyoto’s my friend. He’s my brother, and there’s no way that fight will happen.” There was a pause for laughter and to take account of the gamesmanship between fighter and promoter. “And also not just because (Lyoto’s) my friend. (Lyoto would) be a big problem for me.” Silva was grinning when he said that last line. Still, it warranted some ohs and aws, which will have to do for now. Dan Henderson vs Anderson Silva..... Hmmm, very hard to say. i think A silva 55% chance will win.... but Dan can certainly do it if he can come up with a good gameplan & make no mistakes. If Dan can do it, it will be EPIC.... |

BJ Penn vs Kenny Florian = BJ Penn looks better and fit in this fight (compare vs GSP, he looks fat), no doubt he rules in this weight class, other fighters just so-so. |

I just found out Mirko CroCop is damn CRUEL and PRO fighter. I was reading the mma forum see the angmoh says the crocop left leg damn powderful.
