Looks like the Joe thread is dead.
I have a suggestion to make.
I suggest posting pics of your GI Joe collection-

- anything from vintage ARAH or Spytroops / Joe vs Cobra / Sigma 6 / 25th Anni / ROC / POC .
- or even your customs of any figure / vehicle.
- or even dioramas ,be it simple ones (like those I did previously) or more elaborate dios.
- or even non-Joe military figures / vehicles (Chap Mei / Power Team Elite etc).

Let's keep this thread alive, guys.

That works out to about RM24 per fig..very tempting price but ya have to buy a whole case of 12..
anybody wants extra Duke, SE, SS and CC? i just need the AV ,and i believe so's the others.


damn the HISS are being sold for below RM50..too bad its not in Malaysia.would love to grab a couple.

i hope that around X-Mas ,TRU will have clearance with Arctic Doc and Shippy and POC Quick Kick and Spirit being sold for RM10.

as for new Joes at TRU, your best bet is either Renegades (probably) and GI Joe movie sequel (most definitely).

i have 6 POC AV, 2 25th AV and 1 AV Officer.
plan to have many more..will get them next year.

good haul there . i was so close to getting a case of this early this year but another collector got to them minutes earlier.was selling for RM23.90 per set..how much did u get yours and where did u buy them?
i only wanted the Range Viper coz the black and green paintjob simply turns him into one badass figure, unlike my classic blue Defense Of Cobra Island version.

as for AVs, nah absolutely not enuf for troop builder like myself.
gonna be difficult to find at retail or cheaper so i'll take my time.

Added on November 25, 2010, 2:00 amwhoa there, wave 3 is a definite buy ,what with the definitive SE and Cobra Shock Trooper being much sought after.
Shadow Tracker is included in wave 4,released around late January 2011.

hasbro malaysia brought in less quantities of wave 2 ,compared to wave 1 .
sure hope wave 3's distribution will be better, like wave 1.

Scored me a second POC HISS Tank over the weekend for RM80 .I thought PG shop already sold out but there was 1 left ,located on the other side of the Joe shelves.

yea, same assortment quantity as wave 3.
the only figure that turns me off is the Shadow Tracker which carries ,surprisingly a higher price tag than Destro or Skydive.

for ST ,i think 13 is enuf.but this is "subject to change" due to availability.
if there's few cases brought in by Hasblow as in the case of wave 2 ,then i'll have to hunt elsewhere and it'll take some time.

so, how many ST do u plan to collect ?

even loose, the price wont be cheaper than carded due to higher demand for ST.same case with AV.

But I dont foresee myself buying more than 13 for ST ,coz he's lacking below the waist.

btw, i had been going thru my collection and i realised that my Cobra figures and vehicles outnumber the Joes by a ratio of 3 : 1.
And yet ,the Joes still kick ass in the cartoons and comics ,even with fewer numbers. Yo ,Joe!

Yes i agree.Would have been better if Wave 1 gets the same treatment (3 AV per case) .
However, this is only a good thing if you are buying loose carded figures else if buying per case ,you'll end up with some unwanted figures .
And since most Joe collectors in LYN only buy selected figures ,then it's a good thing for everyone .

You're right .Wave 3 SE has potential for customs .Lots of weapons ,new body ,and all black .What's not to like?
This is most likely the final variation of SE that I'm buying .So if it's the last ,I might as well grab a few extras .

Shouldnt it be SE on the leaping position ?the weight of the shield is not gonna make it easy for AV to jump.
You dont have to compare ,it's up to u how many you wanna collect .
I'm gonna semi-retire on GI Joe after wave 4 POC ,hence I'm hoping to get more POC now.

Where is the rest of the AV gang? Camera shy?

i'm not that excited bout ST as compared to AV.
gonna turn all the ST that i'll be getting into LA SWAT team.
