5 days without internet is like an eternity vmad.gif

But like the pics, good shots especially your Fury, damn 4 AVs man thumbup.gif

I picked up the Ice Cutter and the Awe Striker last Sunday; the Awe Striker is nice, fits 2 seating and 2 standing at the sides. Too bad the Ice Cutter can't carry more than one. Will probably pick up another Striker this weekend.

Picked up Dusty too, great figure, sad accessories. Need more accessories to make him an outstanding package. More Dusty and make yourself a barb wire fence rclxub.gif

Thanks man. tongue.gif
I'm on the fence on whether I should be buying a Striker but definitely am getting the CUtter.
For that price ,at least seating for 2 is mandatory buy given that's it's a new design and it sure looks badass ,i'm gonna overlook that issue.

Good idea there on the barb wire. i just dont understand why it's included in the first place.
a roll of barb wire sure aint gonna do much of anything.and i doubt Dusty's gonna carry it with him at all times.

Today's haul . smile.gif
I would prefer the Snow Serpent Officer sporting black / grey painted harness and visor instead of red .
The back of the box depicts the SS from ROC ,with camo stripes on his pants .
My other gripe being that the missile launcher's gap is slightly larger hence when attaching to the backpack ,the laucher is rather loose and easily falls off .Not a big deal though.

Other than that, this is an awesome vehicle .Yeah, seating is just for one as previously mentioned but the treads are an innovative design on Hasbro's part .
The treads move upward and forward one after the other, mimicking a chainsaw hacking manner as you push the vehicle .

The cannons can elevate and rotates 360 degrees and the windshield's wiper swivels 360 degrees as well .

The spiky treads are made of soft rubber and are removable while the huge rear tire is just a chunk of plastic .

Highly recommended to complement your Cobra arctic team . thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Edit
----

The paintjob is top notch but i prefer the cannons and wiper be painted black / grey.
Also, I tested the vehicle on my bed and the treads have no difficulty in movement .

Grats on the haul man. Nice shots. Yeah the tread action is nice but lack of fig carrying space makes me not like it as much as I like the Awe Striker. And the officers' loose bag and launcher is just shakehead.gif

Awe Strikers' fig comes with accessories like a single carded fig, makes me like this set more smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif
AWE certainly gives you more bang for your buck in terms of the figure's accesories ,which are all repacks from other figures .I just noticed that the AWE has storage space for 5 figures.
...Allrite ,I'm sold .Will get 1 AWE soon.

Wave 3 fig images can be seen at BBTS. Having looked at SE better now, I must agree with darkshadows' statement before, this SE looks superly awesome. And accessories galore, definitely must buy at least 2 thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

And SS, what a shakehead.gif

Indeed ,this guy is just freaking awesome .I pray we'll be getting his regular and alternate heads .

This being the definitive version and SE being my most fav. character ,I'll be getting 10 of this figure .
Insane amount of weapons and accesories (2 knives and accompanying working sheathes) ,2 handguns and holster ,an all new awesome VEST ,plus 3 katanas and 2 sheathes AND MORE!
I'm "giddy as a schoolboy". biggrin.gif

This SE is great for customs ,ie. Black Ops ,SEAL ,commando ....

For the Shock Trooper, he looks rather lacking below the waist .No utility belt ,no holster, what's up with that?
He comes with a three part helmet consisting of a ballistic helmet ,goggles and gas mask.
I hope he comes with a backpack to store the sledgehammer.

And where's Duke's helmet ?SS is ,well nothing to be excited about. If you own Tornado Kick SE ,expect the same with this SS ,gimmick feature again ,weapons that are uninspiring ..totally weak figure of the wave .
I might pop his head onto wave 1's SS.

Thanks .
Well ,I don't mind if the visor is painted red ,but definitely not the webgear ,'pack and missile .
Now if Hasbro repainted the Snow Serpent in black ,he'll be known as Shadow Serpent . hmm.gif I kinda like that.

will the alternate heads be among the mix of 3 SEs?
kinda wished they'd repack some of the troopbuilders from wave 1 like Firefly and Alley viper though...

assuming there's no changes in the final case assortment of wave 3 , is it not possible to build an army of Shock Troopers?

wave 1 AV = 1 per case
wave 2 JV = 2 per case
wave 3 ST = 3 per case

chances of scoring more than 1 ST is much higher than the other 2 troopers .

based on BBTS's picture for SE ,the alternate head is included .
however ,HISStank thread mentioned that SE's case assortment will be packed in equal distribution with half sporting the visor head and the other half with his alternate head.

there's a revision case for wave 2 that includes an AV. i've forgotten if FF is also included.

Cool! Childhood part 2 haha. Still have all my figures from the 90's.
I don't see many places that sell G.I. Joes these days.

Where would be the best spot to look for them? Lol and I did try Toys are Us.. didn't see anythere.

even JVs supposed to hv 2 per case, i find it quite difficult to get even both at one time (maybe i haven't scouted enough). if that's the case, an army of ST is in d making then! biggrin.gif

TRU used to be the best place to scout for joes, but nowadays u can only find those under 'TRU exclusives' (Spirit Knite & Quick Kick). well, hopefully they'll bringing in other POC joes...

hmmm try scout at Isetan & few toy shops at Sg Wang & Amcorp (if u're in KL laa~)

SS 1/6 figures are based on ARAH version but with some modifications / updates.
hence ,Dusty does bear resemblance to his 80's version.case in point, he sports the same helmet ,goggles and helmet cloth style and he wears tan camo uniform .as for his weapon ,that's the FAMAS rifle used by ARAH Dusty.

google pics of ARAH Dusty and you'll know what I mean.
although POC Dusty is awesome, i still prefer the original Dusty.
