The handle bar does nothing really imo. If you position the figs' legs upwards and head closest to the ground, then it serves as a safety harness inside the cockpit I guess. But if you put him head upwards and legs closest to the ground, it'll look weird, what with the sticker that's supposed to go inside the cockpit. So yeah, I think it's just for cosmetic purpose..

And 2 weeks won't be too long away, hope to see them sooner than later. These couple weeks is Star Wars weeks so guess GI Joe is next


The Wolf Hound is originally called the Snow Cat. This is a re-release of the vintage vehicle, just retooled it a bit so the pegs fit modern era figs. And I got mine for RM109.90, looks like the rest of the guys here got them for the same price. And so far, private shops are selling them..not in TRU yet

Today's haul.
Finally am able to complete my ROC collection with the purchase of Dusty,or two Dustys.heh.
Now awaiting the arrival of 25th DVD Pack version of Dustys.
I like the Desert Rockslide a whole lot more than the Rockslide that came with Snow Job primarily becoz of the tan color scheme.

Dusty comes with almost all his accesories from the 25th DVD Pack Arise Serpentor Arise except for the helmet cloth and additional rifle .Glad that the backpack straps are included .

He fits nicely inside the vehicle even with helmet attached.The backpack though is another matter.
Prices for these 3 are reasonable unlike the extremely hiked up price on ebay by local sellers some weeks ago.
Though I only wanted Dusty ,another Volcano Viper won't hurt.

oh no... i tot someone mentioned that the line would get cheaper since they din use the ROC actor's faces.. bummer....

even though there's no actors' likeness in POC's line ,Hasblow team incorporated a whole slew of accesories and new design for some of the figures like FF,SE,SS,BH,Duke .granted some od the parts are reused from ROC and 25th line but overall they turned out for the better.

for Alley Viper ,the accesories are enuf to make two versions of urban troopers.
for Snow Job,the inclusion of cloth cum tent shows that Hasblow goes the extra mile .same goes for the accesories that are attachable behind his backpack.
even Timber has neck and tail articulation.


i'd gladly pay RM39.90 for what i believe to be Hasblow's best GI Joe line in years.

Alley Viper is the holy grail for POC wave 1 and since it's 1 per case,collectors will grab it immediately.
For year 2010,there will be 2 waves released ,1 and 2.
There will be one or two revision case for wave 1, as in ROC and perhaps AV will be included.

love the new hiss tank design but I will wait for black version to come out.

also, for the 7packs...is it for army building?

Can't really build the 7 packs I think unless you customize a lot. Only the Cobra pack has the Alley Viper, rest are individual characters themselves. Both are worth getting if don't exceed RM120 imo
