guys.... need advise.. I have a saphire 4870 with me. My Mobo can support Xfire. My option is whether should i:- 1) Wait for price to drop and buy 1 more 4870 to Xfire? 2) Sell off my 4870 and upgrade to 4890? Can a 4890 outperform a 4870X2? I know 4870Xfire almost close to 4870X2 version. Thank you first...

definitely CF ur 4870 la (sure can hunt at Grage sell tat ppl let go and change 4890)
Make sure ur PSU enough juice or not

4870 should be no problem CF with 4890 same like 4870 CF 4850
but in ur case, mnaybe u can consider to CF 2X 4870
|

performance gap also not that big, necessary for that few frames? well, 4890 is those who dont have a card yet if u have 1 , cross fire it

I think u can use the related thread of 4890 instead creating one  but bundle with Hawx is a good deal.
