U GUYS OUT THERE, currently im waiting for my haf 932.. while waiting im thinking of some ideas of modding it.. I PLANNED TO PAINT THE INTERIOR CASING OF MY HAF 932 ALL BLACK.. SO WAD PAINT SHOULD I USE AND HOW MUCH IT COST.. PLS GIVE ME THE SPECIFIC NAME FOR THE BRAND.. wad about fluorescent paint?? wad is it called?? any specific name?? how much is it?? do i need to use sand paper for painting the interior??

Buy any brand of spray paint . Just tell them the color .

I recomen ANCHOR DPI

It is called Fluoresccent Spray

Normal Spray Paint would cost RM7MAX

As for Fluorescent i have no idea , around RM20MAX

It is called Fluorescent Spray . Saw it at ACE Hardware last time .

Sand it if you think it needed to be sanded .

Start with 400 or 600 Grit , then go to 1000 Grit , then 1200 .

FOr smoother surface .

for normal black paint what is dat called?? got any specific name or just normal black spray paint??

bro, i will spray all black d interior except for the drve bay clips.. that wan may i use fluorescent red or orange.. cant wait to get mah HAF 932...

Tell the hardware sotre to give you normal black .

They have uhhh like ... Metallic Black and more more more , if that hardware store is specialized in selling spray .

Just tell he , Flat Black , when he ask what is flat black , tell he , pure black

somehow without clear coat .. already shiny enough ..

hehe, took from rear side, then replace it with any 12mm red fan..

izit easy to see scratching marks after spraying? or it's safe?

i would say, depend on what model of spray that u used. and the way u JAGA ur case..

i used to spray my casing's interior with flat black..
2 time spray. 1st time failed, easily scratched
redo again 2nd time with proper way, i remove the sprayed layer/do sanding/coating with primer coating
still, never succeeded.. only last for hours...
once i placed my hdd, gpu, dvd drive can see scratching already
it is advised not to change place the 5.25/3.5" items once it is placed.
or else the casing interiors will look uglier than the ori conditions bbcoz of scrathes

im gonna find out the way to prevent that stracth..

well, for stock coloured casings, interior and exterior..nothing much happened if scratched but after spraying or something similiar.. if i gets scratched..then the scratch mark can be seen was wondering if there's a way or a trick to prevent that

i got an idea from the milky haf there, why not black outside and white inside? what u guys think?

If u wan t black , got 2 type, 1 is glossy , 1 is not..
u can try nippon brand one, spray one, around rm 6.50-8.00
use tinner to wipe all around where u wan to spray...then just spray it

white inside will expose all the wires clearly.. if black interior cant be seenn properly if sleeved in black..

haha, ya oh. but if u got those led fans also can see wires what... do a good cable management... then with the led fan there lights up the white interior, i feel it is nice...

i recommend u Samurai brand....
at my place here rm8 per can...
u must sand properly to make sure the paint will stick to ur case...
if u do that properly it will be hard to get scratches....
800 grit will do...
sand all area where u want to spray, get them calar2....
i use 3 can for my case, only got little scratch...

i think ur answer is good but not match with his ideas and imagination..

i was done on my haf...go to car spray shop(2k spray) n ask them to spray with flat black o dead black...sure pretty n cant easily scratch ..pay them 10 ringgit n blah...make sure double layer..hehehe

i,ve modded my CM690 with flat black in and out except for clips... bt as i put on both side panels.. the case scratched(hope u kno the scratched place)... huhu.. is there any way to prevent it... do i hv to spray the case with clear paint on top of the black paint cause i ddnt painted the clear.... help me please...

if me, i will paint it with military design...yeah.... but dont know when can get this casing.....

i think fluorescent around rm15 only....for normal spray around rm7 i think (flat black)...for better color,u can try SAMURAI brand,they said it usually used for spray rim of motocycle...

What about tamiya can spray? Is it good for spraying casing?
It's very pricey, but really no idea with its quality....
