1st time coming over to this thread..
last few weeks, i started to buy hairstyling products... im newbie into this...before that i never use any hairstyling products... frens were advising me getting the Gatsby Moving Rubber series, oso some were asking me get something else than that... in the end, I bought this Ubermen Party Twister @ rm16~ i found the MR stuff are abit pricey for me(rm24)...considering im a student here.. ![]() I thought it was wax, but I found out it's actually a gel... but it's not that wet & hard like rock that we commonly know what a gel brings up to.. I would like to style my hair messy & some little spikes... but the problem is...it cant even hold my hair long enough... i used like two 50sens coin for the whole head... then i read somewhere..telling that » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « so i think shud i change into wax or buy a hairspray ? or maybe i'm applying too less of the product? i was oso considering buying Lucido-L, but its a female product, is it impossible for male to use?? i read through few pages here, found out quite an amount of ppl using schwarzkopf, but i think the price isn't that affordable for me >.> my budget range mayb rm20~ only.. my hair length is erm...consider short-medium? (fringe length just about to cover the eyes] sorry for the text of wall, but i really need some help |

Anyone can recommend me styling product that is not oily and can hold lasting? Used to style with Osis clay and sebastian clay but not very fond of it as it made my scalp oily and itchy....

Does the hair hold well without a hairspray, from my exp with matte hed alone, the hair loses the hold after half a day IMO, it depends on how your hairstyle is. If you're spikey hairstyle, you really need hairspray. Layer hairstyles is fine with wax only without hairsprayIs hairspray a must after usinhg wax? what's ur recommendation? Of course hair doesnt hold that well without hairspray but Matte hed gives me much natural look compare to other wax i used so far. I've seen Fudge hairspray around, not cheap and i'd get other cheaper alternatives they give me good /same results too. Except for Aromatic hairspray which smells bad. Layer hairstyles is fine with wax only without hairspray I agree, from my own experience.. as long as your hair isnt too long, matte hed alone can be sufficient, once they're almost 1 month old, hairspray is compulsory. Tho i dont like the way hairstyle hold my hair, plus it's a bit too sticky Of course hair doesnt hold that well without hairspray but Matte hed gives me much natural look compare to other wax i used so far. I just bought a Loreal indestructible hair wax.
Verdict : 1) If you have fringe, the wax will cause it to curl upwards. I don't know why this happens. 2) It's hard to wash off. I can't get it off from my hands with soap. 3) It will stay on your hair for the next 2-3 days (even after shampooing) =.= Don't buy it. |

Going to finish my sebastian craft clay.
Indeed it is a very good stylish product. But it is a little bit to wash off. Other than sebastian, which brand will you all recommend? Price range about 30bucks to 50bucks This post has been edited by Xiia0Ban: Sep 4 2011, 01:52 AM |
