I'm currently using Fudge products. It's originated from Australia. Using their Smooth Shot series for shampoo and conditioner. Their Erekt gel helps me a bit in straightening, also acts as heat protector (even using with hair dryer will produce straighter hair for me). Yesterday, was deciding between Sebastian Xtah Crude Clay which has tons of rave reviews and Fudge Matte Hed - clay as well, but haven't heard much people using it. In the end, took the risk and went for Fudge since I'm having positive experience with their other products. Got myself their hairspray as well - Membrane Gas, and the combo of both really holds my hair nicely. Washes off very easily as well. So far no regrets, though since I've never tried Sebastian's before, can't really make the conclusion Downside is, it's kinda pricey. Depending on the situation, might not be able to make repeat purchase Hopefully it'll last me long though!

QUOTE(rocket_jet @ May 5 2011, 08:37 AM) Has anyone here ever uses the brand Aveda? I'm currently using (finishing) their pure-formance grooming clay. Pretty decent I'd say. Love the smell too, it's ...different. Matte look. It holds really well, not in the sense of solid, but in the sense that after going outside in the freaking huge wind, the style pretty much remains after going back indoors. Going to try Sebastian Craft Clay after this finishes. Should be trying KMS California's HairPlay Molding Paste, but got confiscated by the air transport security Oh well, that smelt really feminine anyways. Current favourite still Fudge's Matte Hed. Can't find it here But yeah, back to Aveda - try it. This post has been edited by Crazy.SoT.Gila: May 6 2011, 04:49 AM

QUOTE(ljf123 @ Jul 3 2011, 02:31 AM) any wax that is not so 'sticky"? Aveda Mens Pure-Formance Grooming Clay. Otherwise try Fudge Matte Hed which is a lil' bit more sticky, but also has a stronger hold. Both are really easy to wash off. This post has been edited by Crazy.SoT.Gila: Jul 4 2011, 10:13 AM

QUOTE(ljf123 @ Jul 5 2011, 08:00 AM) which one stronger hold and less shine? where can i get it,how much? Fudge Matte Hed has stronger hold. Although now they have Fudge Matte Hed Extra which is even stronger, and even less shine (personally haven't tried it though). SHINS carry Fudge products. Not sure about other places. Price is ~RM60 for 75g.

QUOTE(sickboy @ Jul 8 2011, 08:56 PM) Am currently using Fudge Matte Hed, best so far compare to clays i used before, Sebastian Craft Clay (din even finish =.=) and Joico Hairspray is finishing soon, any recommend on hairspray? Fudge? Regret buying Sebastian Craft Clay Used 2 or 3 times only. Not very eager to use it again For hairspray, I've only tried Fudge's Membrane Gas before as I don't really use hairspray often. So I can't really comment if it's better than others, but it works well for me to hold the style. I know some people can style after spraying, but I can't seem to do so. QUOTE(Imsilly @ Aug 24 2013, 08:41 AM) Hey guys what bran of pomade/wax which has a decent-strong hold and matte finish should I get? I'm currently in NYC so my options will not be limited. Take a look at Aveda. I've used their grooming clay and really liked it. Personally prefer Fudge Matte Hed, but Aveda's was a good alternative when I did not have Fudge. They have pomade as well.
