What is your hairstyle in this 2 pictures called? Is it a pompadour? Can't see clearly.

And what product are u using to achieve it?
*
More of a side part I guess. Juz tell the barber u want undercut on the sides. And keep it long from the top. The way I comb it is just style it to the 1 side.

Looks pretty good. So its short on the sides and long on the top, like an undercut/fade? Though I'm not sure the difference between undercut and fade

What product are u using in those 2 pics? Looks like a bit of wet look. Pomade?
*
yup. I think mine is undercut. Undercut is more drastic, like short, then long. Fade is like, it slowly fades into longer hair. If i'm not mistaken.

Using this Hanz De Fuko Gravity Paste. Got a bit of shine to it. Then finish off with Osis+ hairspray.

Is the hairspray necessary? Does the paste not provide enough hold?

Why paste anyway? Why not pomade or wax?
*
I don't like pomade coz I feel it's too watery. Wax too dry. This gravity paste is just nice for me.

Hairspray so that it stays in shape for whole day.

For hair spray users. Deal alert!

This osis+ hairspray is selling at RM42.90 in Shin outlets. Usually its wayyy more exp. Almost RM60. And even if i buy online from hairdressing.com.my (which i usually do), it cost RM47.

So its definitely more worth it to get it from Shins outlet. I asked d lady, she say offer til 25th May.

Bump for deal alert. Hairspray dah habis. Was thinking to buy online or shop. Went to Giant KD, went to Shins again, saw RM39.90. I was thinking maybe i can get better deal at hairdressing.com.my Coz I used to buy from there at around that price too. To my surprise, hairdressing.com is selling at RM55!

So continue to buy from physical store Shin. tongue.gif

Do you guys use comb? Where u all bought ur comb and what brand?
*
I just use 3 items before styling my hair. Wide tooth comb, hairdryer and my fingers.

This is it, it's quite cheap, and i find it useful for me. It gives a good overall shape. And while blow drying my hair, just keep combing it towards the way i want my hair to style. Then alternatively switch between using fingers are natural comb.

Does anyone know where to get the Arcadian Matte Paste? I've tried google-ing Arcatian Matte Paste Malaysia, tried searching in Lazada and Shopee as well, no sellers selling it. Jenin pomade, The Barbergum, kudospomade, all also not selling it.

I've found one yday, gentslab.store. But it's stuck at the payment process. lol. Still getting them to check.

Any other recommendation on where to buy this Arcadian Matte Paste?

You can buy from Sgpomades.com. Free shipping to MY, but you have to pay slight premium. Around extra RM5-RM10. Usually take about a week to get your stuff.

aiya, a bit late bro. I already purchase O'douds Matte Paste from Sweeny Ted.

Anyone here using the Jordan O’Brien’s chaptr styling cream? Please let me know if there are any resellers online or shop in Malaysia. Been a huge fan of Matte Paste ever since I started using Hdf Gravity Paste, Blumaan Monarch Matte Paste.

Recently using Odoud’s Matte Paste, it feels more of a clay tbh.

Wanna try this Chaptr styling cream next.
