QUOTE(kitkat @ Sep 22 2009, 12:59 PM) the major diff bet RE4 and RE5 (pc version) 1) after u tried out the texture mod ripped from gamecube version u'd say otherwise, modify the config file so that u can play in full hd rather than 1600 x ???? max, n make sure u update urs to ver 1.1, since the default version 1.0 has the lighting effect part completely discarded, though ver 1.1 lighting doesnt match the gamecube dynamic lighting, but it's something (ps2 oso), in terms of resolution n clarity, pc version is the best after the mods.1. RE5 graphic blows off your eyes, while RE4 is totally sucks, terrible just like PS2 game. 2. RE5 is shoot and run, while RE4 u got to stick on the same place runningĀ around to solve the quest. (thats y RE4 gamepley is longer) 3. RE5 you got a hot chic partner, RE4 you either fight alone or got accompany by a small little gal. 4. RE5 is mostly daytime and outdoor, RE4 is generally dark environment. 2)i believe all RE fans prefer much more puzzles to solve rather than much more zombies to shoot (wait, r they zombies?) 3)with a partner on ur side, it's no scary anymore. 4)too bright, not scary at all liao. for those who played pc version of re4 n think it sucks, here's the modding community http://z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4...hp?showforum=10 Albert's Texture Patch V2.0 is a must, just look for the others n get them as u need try re4 with a gamepad, u'd say it rocks ^^ This post has been edited by cloudaeris: Sep 22 2009, 04:12 PM |

QUOTE(unrealweapon @ Sep 22 2009, 10:50 PM) or if u are really rich u can get 1 rocket launcher, first go to the lock door on ur right, try to open the door and trigger a cut scene. after that follow up the stairs and wait for Line In Sight for Wesker. fire the rocket launcher, if he grabs it, shoot it out, it will deal major dmg to him. and wait for awhile for the next cut scene. i've got my own strategy1st, let jill to try attcking u, evade it, n run to her to knock her out by throwing next, let wesker come to u, ready ur magnum, during the attacking animation, when he's about to hit u, shoot him, that's a point where he's vulnerable, shoot twice using magnum, n he should be stunned, then run to him n trigger the melee 7 hits combo, just follow the on screen prompt, i believe most of us never seen or use this special combos for wesker. |

for those normal majiji that u know will spawn the parasite, just giv them a shot on their hands, n when they r stunned, melee them from their back to giv them "neck breaker", 1 hit kill n no parasite spawned.

QUOTE(JoBigShow @ Sep 29 2009, 10:04 PM) Unfortunately you cannot bro, its all 'real-time'. because re5 is designed to played in co-op onlineCompared to RE4(which you can "pause"), RE5 has multiplayer mode, so my guess is that this is the reason why you browse the map and inventory in 'real-time' in RE5. |
