no mean to offence, just to clear it out, because i know it is difficult to save/make money enough to get the ticket, so i stand out and ask WHY the ticket price so expensive, as it alrdy near to the price of AFA08 ticket and in the end i get my answer...hope that is true

On another note regarding your pricing matter, you did say about we shouldn't compare our currency with other countries but one thing that you failed to see is that the cost of getting an artist to come would be similar. Let say the cost to bring Minorin to make a show is USD$100,000 (I am just making example here) and then the ticket price also being set at USD$80 or something like that. And the pricing also similar for other countries. Whether we like it or not, we still have to use the price that being asked even if our currency is far more weaker than other countries.

if ur really a fan of hers, it shouldn't be difficult. worse come to worse theres the daicon event book or a whiteboard.

i mean, hell, im not a fan of minori at all, and it wasnt that difficult for me to go all the lengths to order the DVD from amazon japan (yes, theres english language switch, however a few parts during registration and checking out is in japanese)

yes, it is costy. but then again, if ur truly a fan of hers, and considering you even spent rm250 for the awsm, whats rm50-70 (most likely less, im making an example here anyways) for a CD of hers for the autograph?

Well, I have seiyuu magazines that have her posters. One magazine costs rm 67 at the time I bought (ordered from Kinokuniya).

This is just merely guessing only unless you can provide proof of it that cost to bring minori same with the cost to bring may'n...as common known by public, there is a bad habit of some of our local merchant keep raising the product price when they found others selling the same product with higher price, and never drop the price even when the cost already decrease at later time if compare to high cost at before.

My point was the example of USD$100,000 that implied for both Malaysia and Singapore. Not by comparing the differences between Minorin and May'n. Look at consumer products for example like Apple iPhone. All iPhone is priced similar in all countries, almost (slight differences as how the taxes and other stuffs). But there you can see when currency exchanges apply, we could see that Malaysian have to pay such hefty sum of money to get it although in reality the price pretty much similar in US market if the price is in Dollars. See?

Between May'n (20) and Minori Chihara (28), the latter is more experienced in the entertainment world and May'n was a newcomer. Minorin was having her debut in anime world around the year 2004 with Tenjo Tenge along with her first album in the same year as a start of her singing career. May'n on the other hand only having her first album released this year and never had any seiyuu role except being Sheryl Nome's voice for singing. This is just the first comparison. Another one is the differences between AFA and DaiCon. AFA looked bigger than DaiCon is through to certain extent with many sponsors and stuffs going on. I am not saying DaiCon is small but looks smaller than AFA. Perhaps DaiCon's budget mainly goes to the intention of bringing Minorin here as lesser sponsors compared to AFA. In this part, we can deduct that bringing Minorin here could be more expensive than May'n. Plus, Japanese is different compared to American artists. We can have Linkin Park coming to our place easier as their companies mainly have local headquarters too for direct contact and such. Do you see any Avex Entertainment in Malaysia? Or King Records and Lantis?
