QUOTE(senn @ Jul 5 2009, 10:55 PM) It's really a shame that no pictures taking is allowed for minorin's events. Not even a 1-min of free-for-all? :/ Anyways, do update with the schedules & all events location asap, I believe all visitors need to arrange their time and what not. Only a week's left. QUOTE(flame13th @ Jul 5 2009, 11:01 PM) Meh.. What's the point of buying the ticket to see her if you can't even take a picture of her. I'm going to take some other pictures during the event then. QUOTE(qwer312 @ Jul 5 2009, 11:42 PM) well..maybe the strict photo rule for japan singer only...or maybe the management company problem again.. Generally, the higher the artiste's profile is, the more stricter the photography rules are. It all depends on the manager's discretion. I will say this though, that in publically scheduled performances and events, photography and video recording are strictly banned. No any photo rule during last time two seiyu come to visit melaka...and they are happy to take photo by us. QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 6 2009, 11:19 AM) aye. even for May'N herself, she took a number of pictures with her fans during the arrival to SG at the airport lucky campers got their winrar pics on their blogs lol QUOTE(fujkenasai @ Jul 6 2009, 01:20 PM) We can still do the same for minorin, stalk her at the airport hotel. Back in AFA the airport thing was also actually organized by the organizer, so it's not exactly people camping. I'm sorry to say we won't be organizing such a thing for Minorin however, and please do not try to be ninja or superman, coz that might leave a bad impression if done wrongly. Organize a search party like we did for Aya hirano? What if they find our cosplayers too sex QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 6 2009, 03:30 AM) suggestion: update ur FAQ page too on the added allowed item for the autograph since people may know/visit about daicon website but dont know/visit about LYN. That is not a major concern for us right now. As long as everyone acts accordingly there shouldn't be any trouble. =edit= to add in http://www.hmetro.com.my/Current_News/myMe...icle/index_html http://www.hlj.com/product/GRFFTP-02 <-- is most likely the figure in question if its true, saber in bikini is 'terlampau' in those moral police definitions, then TFM figure display could face troubles if said moral police happen to pay a visit to daicon (ohai cosplayers lulz) so to kurogane and the daicon committee: any steps taken to prevent such folks from invading our otaku culture thats already under enough heavy exaggeration by tabloids as it is? Also, Metro so far has been going for the shops rather than targeting events. |

Hi....
My Name is Brian and i'm a vendor in Daicon 2009. I'll be doing Temporary Airbrush Tattoo service during the event. I've custom made many kinds of tattoo stencil just to suit the event's theme.. Most of my custom made designs are related to many famous anime such as naruto, bleach, macross, gurren lagann, death note, FMA, etc. As for anyone who are gonna participate in cosplay and need tattoos for their character, i hav some tattoo that might suit you. For example, the "爱" word on Gaara's fore head, Sasuke's Seal on shoulder, Neiji's Forehead seal, Anbu tattoo, Full Metal Alchemist's "Black Sin" tattoo, all can be done in my booth. As for bigger tattoo such as the seal on the seal on Naruto's stomach, do PM me for that coz the size is kinda big and i need to prepare for it. If u have any Tattoo in your mind that need me to customize for you, do PM me and let me know.. As for the price, it all ranges from RM 3 till RM15, based on the size of the tattoo... An affordable price for everyone...?? Feel free to visit my booth during the event. Hope to see there... |

Aoshi, this is still Malaysia. We do have rules on nudity in public. Last thing people need is negative publicity on anime cons in Malaysia.
Like it or not, this is how game is played here. |

QUOTE(wolfx @ Jul 6 2009, 11:08 AM) It would seem this is likely to be the case......their management company probably manage them as a pop diva 1s, seiyuu second. yup, I am sure most of us only know about her through her career of seiyuu, not singer...maybe people in japan also like that...but we cant do anything about it except their companyIf it were up to them i'm sure they wouldn't mind-care if they took photos with the fans. Follow the rules, by all means. But don't self-censor just because some moralfag in some shit newspaper tries to generalize everything. If it's been working up till now, stick to it. No reason to change whatsoever.Like it or not, this is how game is played here. |
