Actually AFA spent a lot MORE to bring May'n there than us. First of all, the organizers there paid for FIRST CLASS AIR TICKETS for her entourage (manager + the 5 dancers + security detail + backup personnel) and five star hotel for all of them too, from what I heard. I don't know the exact cost, but you can check out the air tickets price and hotel room online right? I'm definitely sure it's already 5 digits there. There's also the talent fee (amount unknown, but probably in the region of few million yen) to take in to account as well, and that goes on TOP of the travel and accomodation. A friend also told me they spent about 1K SGD for her everyday there too, which was about 5 days (Thursday to Monday). I'm pretty sure that the cost of May'N is astronomically higher than what we are spending for DaiCon IN TOTAL (plus all the other costs).

In fact, our whole aim for DaiCon is to have fun and prove that Malaysia also can do events like this. ALL of our committee members have not even ONCE thought of profiting from the event, so your accusations are actually a really sad blow to all of us here. We've already tried to make the pricing as reasonable as possible and if you believe that the tickets are too expensive according to your own yardsticks, we understand, but insinuating that we want to profit from the event really hurts our hearts.

May'N not exactly new as a star since her career started many years back. Her big break just happens to be recent Macross Frontier. So i guess its normal for her management company  to treat her as such.

Apple iPhone is substance, the production cost is countable and can be estimated accurately. And cost to invite an artist to come malaysia is more like a service fee or talent fee, and it could be affect by many unstable factors.
If you want to organize such event and include some commercialize activities...pls be prepare to accept criticism or comments, even it is negative or positive.

However, Emina club activities still differentiate to which campus. More accurate to say is Daicon by Emina Cyber, GACC by Emina Melaka...and special discount ticket price for MMU student only for Cyber campus student, not include melaka

I don't have an excuse for doing that. But I am fully prepared to face the consequences.

I think being an idol in a country with a strong fanboy culture such as Japan, she's already used to ugly stuff that was done by her fans. There were a lot of reported and unreported cases of extreme Japanese fanboys insulting their idols by doing as far as stalking them and ringing their private phones repeatedly in the middle of midnight.

If Minorin management really cares about who drink her mineral water after every event, they should have confiscated every stuff touched by her, deleted all her foot trails and wiped clean every glass she touched to prevent some crazy otaku to trace her fingerprints and publish it on their blogs or forum. She's such a busy celebrity I think she got more important stuff to do rather than being insulted by such a stupid reason.

Who knows she purposely leave it there as a gift to us, and she might be disappointed if it ends up inside a recycle bin.

To setsuna, I don't think what you did actually has anything to do with your pride as human and all.

Tip if you are going to an ACG event in Malaysia
- Look out for people with cameras, especially if they hang out near the TFM booth. Those are usually hardcore photographers, bloggers, especially uncle Valho. He can conjure up a cosplay photoshoot session from out of nowhere. you might want to hang out with them
- Also look out for a group that usually dress weirdly and go to booth to booth, and greet people. Those are hardcore /AS/ late night thread members. They can do a leeching session almost anywhere, anytime. Just show them a power plug and a HDD full of animes. They have been documented of doing an insta leeching session from Mamak stalls to even a parking lot on a car's bonnet.
