UPDATES:
We now have our FAQ Page up! For those curious about DaiCon's entrance fees as well as the details on Minorin's appearance here, you can find out more there! Also we're proud to announce that Singapore's premier anime merchandising store, Kareshi Kanojyo no Mise as one of DaiCon's ticketing partners and Singaporeans may now purchase the ELITE tickets from them! QUOTE(balthier511 @ May 30 2009, 02:01 AM) Hello. Any people in charge of Daicon reading this? I don't mean to be rude but when I went to the Daicon site to check the progress I was really happy to see a "Jpop Exhibition" added. And then all the happiness evaporated after seeing a page full of Johnny's girls.. I mean, boys T_T You have a valid point there balthier511. We are fully aware that J-Pop is not just only Johnny's Entertainment, but they are also one of the most recognizable names of the scene here in Malaysia. It was inevitable that we had to focus on them, especially so since we had cooperation with 56th Avenue. Please..... not everyone is a huge fan of JE, and they can't and don't represent J-pop as a whole. I have nothing against JE, but please promote/include/talk about other artists in the fabulously colourful and varied world of JPOP as well. It's still May/June and you guys still have time to improve and add to the events but I really hope you guys do something about the Jpop part. Otherwise just change that part of the event to "Johnny's Exhibition" and the last phrase in the sentence "we'll be setting up Johnny's Corner, a space where you can meet like-minded fans of artists from Johnny's and celebrate your "J-pop love". " should be strictly changed to "JE LOVE". And what's with the "featuring 56th Avenue"? Isn't that just the nickname of the Johnny's fan who's in charge? *phew* Thanks for reading. /end of rant Of course, while it may be JE-centric, it doesn't mean other popular artists will be forgotten in the exhibition. We will try our best to showcase other artistes in it as well, but I cannot give you any promises. If you have any further suggestions regarding the J-pop exhibition, feel free to email info@daiconnews.com about it. |

The RM 30 ticket is a special offer we're doing now mainly targeting students of MMU(or anyone willing to come to our booth in MMU to buy it). It's basically a free standing area behind the ELITE seats and covers for both the Q&A session and mini-concert for both days.
