dont go for complicated software.. for starting... picasa has quite a collection on basic PP-ing~~
install Picasa3 first...

to put a watermark... choose "export" function... u can write whateva u wan as the signature

I'm using photoscape for basic PP , can do batch editing too ..
very easy and user friendly ..

i use Picasa3 to for minor PP.
pretty light software with very easy menu/interface.
then if got major editing, then i used PS.

i use picasa only.... can edit while i preview my shots

I'm going to get a 2nd hand @200, so beside the shutter count, is there any thing that I need to check to make sure it's in good condition?

don't worry about the shutte count, u can only check wen u send to service.... the running number on the cam can easily b reset....

just test it kao kao and make sure the shutter working ok..... no scratch n crack.... the dust thing and send back to sony for cleaning.....

most important thing is this is still under warranty from Sony Malaysia

as cjlai said... with sony... shutter count can be reset anytime lah...
so molest the camera until u satisfied only...

the most important is the warranty la... by the previous user? shop? or original sony warranty??

yes,u can extend the warranty thru phone and they will do the rest after u make payment.it will cover the lens as well when u extend warranty for your a300x

it is ovrexpsed...my DIY pop-up flash diffuser failed haha... no external flash mecha... wait la slowly...
