Only phone shop can unlock iphone3G? no free one?

My iphone3g kena locked cause i terdownload version 2.2.1.1 .. SAD !!
And i dont feel like going to unlock it by phone shop cause need to charge, around (RM100 - 150),its pain.. Is that any other place to unlock it? like Maxis and Celcom or Apple centre those places? or can i download the software and unlock it myself? i will appreciate it alot if bro or sis can help me... |

u got to use hardware unlock...meaning u got to buy grevey sim or any other sim adaptor that compatible with firmware 2.2.1 or your can temporary turm your iphone 3G into most expensive MP3 player(IPOD Touch)
