The movie is so badass. Even for someone like me who never watch the original Mad Max. The movie looks like something straight out of a crazy japanese manga (I know Mad Max inspired a number of manga like Fist of North Star). I love its fast paced editing the best. Coupled with the amazing soundtrack. Definitely would watch again to enjoy it on the big screen. Manly thumb up by Max. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(6so @ May 15 2015, 04:28 PM) The other really admiring qualities of the movie is how they manage to establish action sequences geographically. No matter how quick were the edits, you are fully aware what is going on and can follow the flow of the crazy action without losing track. Dang! Just found out we missed out some milk maiden story bits about the war boys. They could be the ladies who release the waterfall near the end of the movie. Just read on reddit that the director dropped the frame rate in some of the sequence to make it snappy. Love the editing style. QUOTE The frame rate was also manipulated to achieve a desired effect. "Something like 50 or 60 percent of the film is not running at 24 frames a second, which is the traditional frame rate," said Seale. "It'll be running below 24 frames because George, if he couldn't understand what was happening in the shot, he slowed it down until you could. Or if it was too well understood, he'd shorten it or he'd speed it up back towards 24. His manipulation of every shot in that movie is intense."
