casanova:
hmm never had time to do tat yet casanova, but from the website it says 4 to 5 hours. since the software, which got to download manually from the razer website, they will give u the "battery life" bar there, and the mouse will off when unused for like a minute or two. and yea, since the battery reminds me of a handphone battery it cud last longer than 4-5 hours i guess... tongue.gif

maybe other mamba users can have a better answer lolx tongue.gif

p/s: i think razerguy wants to see hows the wireless thing goes on first, and maybe later will see a lachesis wireless? tongue.gif

chanws8:
i hope it will after batches and batches, cause most of my friends that i gave to try want it too, LuLx tongue.gif

u saw pirated razer website ah? tongue.gif
the razer site says 14hrs continuous no life gaming, and 72hrs for normal gaming.
it also says depends on surface used, maybe the smoother surfaces requires more sensor tracking to work properly so lowering batt life.

weird allocation of dpi switch buttons
I'm still bothered with razer's side buttons
inconvenient especially to large palm
sometimes run off little precision because accidentally click it while try to hold it firmly
as usual, handling & mouse feet design are prone to be on speed side, love it
if only razer can have those side buttons allocated somewhere else...
5.6k dpi...still a long way to tame it to me

hmm, well i been using my DA for about a year now, until one click, it goes double click, thanks to me playing godfather 2 (EA), where the shooting mechanics just makes me spam the clicks too much, and "ka-blam!" ohhh shit! i need a new mouse now.... sad.gif so far i can tell, the smoothness uh... depends on what mousepad you use, i tired it on my exact mat seem okie (hard though, thats a nature of tat hard material mousepad), but on my friend's "SteelSeries QCK+ Fnatic Edition" seem good, since its soft and treats your mouse like, your writing it on paper, not wood tongue.gif (i might get that! hehe! but now cant, pokai adi >.<)

Since im used to DA with mah "hands" (refer to picture that moderno took) i used the "claw" grip to control my mouse around, and now with the mamba, its better to handle... and much comfortable, since the mamba has rubber pad at both side of the mouse and when you "hold" it with ur fingers its damn comforting, thus the mamba is actually makes it want you to "move" it around more with confidence. That's where the dpi and the technology comes in to play and the wireless makes your hand and mouse free together to do want nonsense play style you wanna do with your mouse, you might treat it like a bike and "make your moves" with it like those X-games fellas tongue.gif im really saying what i think i could say about it, with the different point of view to say about the mamba, and i might be different to other people whose using it or not tongue.gif

to me now the mamba is like an upgrade to the DA, i dont know about the diamondback fans, the lachesis fans and salmosa users (freaking-ly small mouse), i think they might need sumtime to get used to it tongue.gif

If you read this far, it sound like im giving a short review, and i think i am, thanks to sum reviews i read thoughly, and not that serious during the hours i was thinking about getting the mamba lol tongue.gif hope you'll understand what im trying to say:P heh >.<

Well, i actually got think want to buy mamba because i like DA before. But the only problem that i faced during my 'journey' with DA is gliding smoothness(im using qck heavy btw). I dont know this problem is depend on mouse surface or my mousepad problem. But now im using IME 3.0 with qck heavy seem much more smoother than DA + Qck heavy.

One more thing, does Mamba feels warm like DA? My palm got sweaty pretty fast when i use DA. then the side plastic buttons make it more difficult to handle. lol.

you mean when you move the mouse around uh? well i could say its okey, im getting used to it, and followingmy CoD 4 friend who use it he found it smooth to use, or maybe hes adept to it well... depends on the user i guess smile.gif

hmm... well when i do sweat, my palm will get wet first, and maybe it will get warm like you said, to me i'll take a cloth and wipe abit lolx tongue.gif... and yea, u'll get use to it after you use it over and over again, since the surface does feel rubber coated again like the DA (razer love its rubber). the side rubber pad kinda helps for me since thats the grip you have. well just get hold of it 1st before you buy i guess, and you could take a look around the side of the mouse carefully, its different than DA (if im not wrong, even i do i have the DA for quiet sumtime but i didnt notice the side design of the mouse). From afar it looks like DA, aside from the mamba doesnt have the "blue razer logo" blink, just the mouse wheel blue light and the side 3 small bar, where you can see the color green to red.

so yea, its 449 bucks for me, other places will cost less, take your time, the technology and the product are here to stay tongue.gif

well, when you play Godfather 2, just be careful tongue.gif
