i want to ask..
where can i donate to poor people that cant do cemetery for their relative, friend or relative......
i willing to donate to make their graveyard.

alot of people ask why i want to donate to this type of thing...

it because i believe that die people cant do their own graveyard and i believe they want a proper place for their last place to rest...
i also believe that people that still alive still can try and work to survive... but not for die people...

and there's my very personal reason..... which leave me a bad memory in the past....

i active in donating like this in my own country.... so i want to do the same thing at malaysia.....

pls tell me if there's ppl need help.... when u do this its also help me to release my burden.....

thanx....

you should contact the cemetery authority ( the group who take charge of the burial ground )

or maybe the coffin shop.

this is the 2 direct way i can think of.

i salute you for your kindness but i do not think such donation is here in Malaysia, i do not know about other people culture but for Chinese the people will pay some form of "grievance" money to the family member. anyway if you really want to donate to life people, go to the respective place notworthy.gif

As what I heard for Malays those who have no relative and passed away in govertment hospital, they will send the body to the mosque.
What I can suggest you is, go to govertment hospital, there are actually some people will be in charge to keep in touch with the family members who have people passed away, from there you can get to know the family. Then you can decide how you want to help them.
Else you can make donation at the funeral. smile.gif

Ladylui! your idea is perfect, i have never come across such a person as you who considers for the death... the same thing happened my death father.. but here's my little suggestion, would you be interested in sponsoring an orphanage or donating for the living? you can visit us at http://theraingamenterprise.webs.com , If anyone who is found interested with an orphanage, please contact us.. all kinds of donations are excepted from clothes to used computers, from coins to cash.. Thanks..

Just find the grave yard management people or maybe the coffin shop people, that the most easy way... I doubt those in hospital will help you anything.

Not bad, indeed a good person you are.

But don't you think it is better to donate those money to help a living person than the dead ones? No offence. smile.gif

Dear ladyliu,

My old aunt used to do such good deeds too when she was alive. Each coffin made of simple light wood cost about RM40 at that time. They were donated to those old folks without relatives.

Here’s the address of the old folks home where such donation is very much welcomed:

Silver Jubilee Home for the Aged, Jalan Sungai Dua, 11700 Penang.

if i am not mistaken, there is one coffin shop at petaling street where you can leave them your contact number and they will contact if there is any poor family whom can't afford to purchase a coffin
