I use a GCB-95 for about, oh, 5-6 years and it still sounds good.
I also have a Zakk Wylde wah (basically a modded JH-1) for about 2-3 years and it is still going strong. I had to repair the battery connection once (more on that below), but it still sounds good.

And yes, I use my wahs a HECK alot (mostly to cover my bad mistakes)

But if you're worried, you can always take it to a good tech and have them fix it. Ng at JS Music just repaired my Wylde Wah (the battery thing) and he did it very well. Might send my GCB-95 to him to install the Fasel inductor to give it a little more warmth and depth.

Nope. Haven't done the true-bypass yet...... but doesn't really bother me. My cleans are still sparkly clean tongue.gif

And yes, you CAN solder on a Fasel inductor.
