Credit department is separate from the banking department... though in the same bank. That's life.
Would you like the Credit Card department to take money out of your Savings accounts when your balance is overdue without your knowledge ?

My mom didn't produce her bank account statement even Maybank and CIMB Bank request for this when we applied for their credit cards. Bank account statement is confidential and since our bank accounts are held with other banks, i will not produce my bank statement no matter what.

Just now the bank called my colleague and told her that her card has been approved a week ago. They said she should be able to receive it this week sweat.gif But as of yesterday they still ask for her bank statement.

really hor~ sometimes i dunno how this ppl do things!

@HughieRmX,
General online transaction?  Meaning, transacting in foreign currency or local currency?  If it's in foreign currency, I suggest you go for UOB because they don't charge additional 'service' fees when U do a foreign transaction, unlike the rest of the banks.

tinkerbel,

I didn't know bout this eh. used to have UOB One card. cancelled last yr due to bad services + my 0% interest installment finished last year biggrin.gif

Maybank Petronas card is good for points only. I'm not sure if you can use Bonuslink card at the station if u use this card...

pls read the terms and conditions before recommending a card.

Maybank Petronas is to collect points at petronas station. Bonuslink can collect points in Shell station. please don't mix up these 2 brands sweat.gif
