Damn, I think today was the best leg day I've ever had. laugh.gif

My legs are numb now. sweat.gif Football in school, a ton of running obviously. Hit probably every part of the legs in the gym too. Squats, walking lunges, leg extensions/curls, calf raises, Bulgarian split squats and finished everything off with 2 sets of pistols (that's all I could manage by then). tongue.gif Then I actually made myself RUN home for no apparent reason, nearly collapsing outside my house. XD

i can't believe someone actually said this... sweat.gif

Start off by squatting without any external weight. Try to look up some videos for proper technique, or if possible, get someone to teach you. The Tabata method is when you do a certain exercise for 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds after that, then repeat for a couple of sets.

Leg day's my favourite day of the week, so yeah. The harder it is for me to walk after working out, the better. tongue.gif

Squats might help a little with flexibility, but if you want to improve or maintain it, you still need to do your stretching. Doing squats won't impair dancing; in fact, it will help you become a better dancer since you're strengthening your core muscles.

Your body just hasn't accustomed itself to the exercise, so keep doing them and you'll eventually develop enough muscle conditioning. Then you'll be able to do it without breaking a sweat in no time.

PS what kind of dance do you do?

latin dance smile.gif okay, i just want to reduce my fats around my body.. rclxms.gif

@stich
good luck in your training thumbup.gif
