how come took a month of waiting? delivery that long meh or u just ordered late? how long did the delivery take?
*
long story laugh.gif tongue.gif

i reach UK early june and in order to buy online, i need to set up bank acc here and that took me around 2 weeks plus almost 3 weeks. then i didnt know that to recieve parcel here in my hostel, i need to inform the receptionist and sign a form. therefore, it took 2 days to reach. if not of that, it would only take 1 day. order today reach tomorrow.

so overall it took around a month or so to get this mouse smile.gif

Which shipping company you deal with? Royal mail ?
I asked my friend to get a roccat mouse pad.. Till now also haven't received.. Was 2 months back then.. sad.gif
*
i use DPD. i was amaze how their tracking system works. it was very details. from what i saw, most ppl here use royal mail to ship their stuff but in my case, royal mail was the a lil expensive. hence, i choose DPD tongue.gif

QUOTE(espada90 @ Jul 3 2009, 12:11 AM)
wa so long?
now i feel like poslaju is doing a good job...XD
*
nope. they are fast and also their tracking system is alot better than poslaju whistling.gif

here is how their tracking system works:

The Package

Taito

One thing for sure is that the packaging for Kone is superbly stunning beautiful. at first i really didnt wanted to open the package laugh.gif anyway, after opening it and after using for several hours, i really felt nice and it just fit into my hands quite naturally. although like madman mention, its heavy, imo, its still okay for my normal usage and gaming. and the scroll button is damn hard at the moment. hopefully will soften after a while using it. the driver and software is just amazing. it has so many features in it and this makes it easy for me to customize it to my needs (although i havent test or tried out all the feature on the software tongue.gif ). one thing im curious about is the TCU (Tracking Control Unit). not sure, whether it really works or just to show off laugh.gif

For Taito, imo it really look like a normal mouse mat. nothing special about it. to me, not much difference compared to Titan. but for only £9.99, i think its quite worth it for the size (400*320mm).

btw, i heard quite some feedback about the scroll wheel breaking down. hopefully mine doesnt wink.gif

the older, 1st version Kone has this problem....

the current 2nd version fixed the issue....

how to tell the difference....well theres no official way of knowing.i even tried asking roccat themselves and they said they cant give out that information.

BUT...i remember reading somewhere mentioning that the 1st version comes with 2 CDs and the second version comes with only 1 CD (this isnt official from roccat...just something the site said only)

mine came with only 1. and since u bought at the same place as me...i guess urs oso came with only 1 CD right? no worries la...most likely we using 2nd version.
EDIT: oh yeah...since uve used the taito....how is it??? smooth? if compared with everglide titan dkt? which is smoother?
*
yup mine is the same as yours. only 1 CD. laugh.gif

i cant really compared taito with titan now. coz my titan is back in malaysia doh.gif laugh.gif

but from what i tried, taito surface should be smoother. but then i think titan has thicker mat

QUOTE(espada90 @ Jul 3 2009, 03:54 PM)
wa...very nice prduct and the packaging is so cool...tat mousepad looks very sleek as well...can be found in malaysia?
*
the mouse pad actually looks and feel like most mat out there. maybe im noob or what but i dont really feel there is any difference. but im taito surface is really smooth and for that large mat, its worth the money. too bad, its not available in malaysia

maybe you open it up and try and compare it. coz i dont have my titan with me so i cannot be 100% sure that taito is smoother laugh.gif

I'm not doing international shipping.. Couldn't trust the local people that are dealing with the packaging..  Things stolen happened before..
What i did was asked my friend to buy for me and bring it back when she comes back to Malaysia.. Successfully got the Roccat kone for R.aliff, now the Roccat sense delaying.. If not I already have it by now.. sad.gif
@Madman
Open it and gives some reviews for comparing both titan and taito la.. Since you are the only one having both.. tongue.gif
*
now im just waiting for madman to open a roccat club brows.gif since we have a few roccat owners now smile.gif

Yea, Roccat only has one mouse, 3 mouse pads, 1 earphones, 1 headphones and one keyboard(God knows when coming out).. And it's not available in Asia anytime soon.. From what i heard, They wanna focus on Europe first..

I somehow felt that Roccat kone like ikari nia.. Cause i did comparison myself when i received the Kone before i sent it to my friend.. But Kone is a bit higher and heavier (add on weight)..

Cheers biggrin.gif

Added on July 3, 2009, 8:33 pmAnd, once i got used to My ikari laser, Felt kinda weird on my CH.. sad.gif

QUOTE(jwanker @ Aug 12 2009, 11:50 AM)
Guys...any opinions on the Sharkoon Fireglider besides the fact it is identical to the A4tech's? Friend of mine bringing in the Fireglider for sale soon...
*
i have personally tested fireglider. i would say its a nice and smooth mouse. its light in weight but one thing about the back of the mouse where the weight is put, the cover gets stuck every time i try to open it. i guess after a while it will get loose. the fire touching is awesome. i personally like it better than a4tech's one which looks like a snake skin.

about response time, i didnt really test it on any games. for normal usage i would say it is really good and the best part is the price. for a 3600dpi mouse, the price is indeed very cheap. plus its dpi can be reduce until 600dpi which alot of mouse cant do that low. although i dont know why people need such low dpi. but at least it gives more option to choose from.

overall if you have a low budget for a gaming mouse, fireglider is the way to go smile.gif
