Yeah.. Still, it comes right down to the user own preference.. Different people have different gripping style and taste..

Deathadder is the best gaming mouse I've ever used, but it was marred by poor quality build.. So, if u don't mind sending it for rma at least once, yeah, u shud try out deathadder.. That's why my vote will be on steelseries ikari laser.. brows.gif

Well, it's a common issue for razer mouse to heat up.. It's due to the heat produced by the logo led..

the heat is upfront, after the sensor. anyway, logo on diamondback 3g is not lighted

Oops, thot urs was deathadder.. doh.gif actually, infrared sensors generate more heat than laser sensor.

Yes, all depends on mousepad la, bro.. The diff sensor doesn't really affect much.. Even my Ikari laser more superior than optical mice, especially in much higher pace game than cs1.6/css like quake 3 and enemy territory wolfenstein.. Oh yeah, I do play them competitively online around the world, so I know how awful it is if ur mice does not track well.. (aka kena owned)

Factors such as the mousepad (smoothness) and mouse design (gripping style and comfortness) play major roles in ur accuracy rather than the sensor thingy..

Just read reviews on Ikari Laser, the reviewer said it doesn't have "on-the-fly-sensitivity", its more like it has 2 profile settings nia... so in other words.. no..  rolleyes.gif

erm, care to share how do u define 'sensitivity'? for me, it's dpi/cpi setting (correct me if im wrong, but i think i am wrong doh.gif).. oh yeah, do u know u can change the cpi for ikari anytime u want without having to install it's driver? smile.gif

^^ hmm, wonder if u guys have try DA b4. to me, DA is way better than lachesis in evry aspect (except dpi and extra keys, which most gamers dont really give a damn anyway), no matter if ure claw or palm gripper. its true that most DA has it's heat issue, but my unit does not have the problem at all. if ure right handed gamer, recommend u to use DA (if ure razer fan), microsoft ime 3.0 (if ure on tight budget, no thrills just frills) and last but not least ikari laser/optical (if budget is not an issue).
IMO, ikari is the comfiest mouse, but the learning curve is quite steep. for DA, requires u maybe fewminutes only for u to get famiiar with it.
if ure a left handed gamer, ime1.1 is the best. true that lachesis too left handed friendly, but ime1.1 is better and more comfortable.
