user posted image

Zotac China is one of the manufacturers to design non-reference GTX 260, and the company has recently updated GTX260-896D3 for even better performance. The power supply design has been optimized with pricing unchanged as RMB1299. Backed by 3-year warranty, the card will be shipped soon.

Zotac GTX260-896D3 features Accelero Xtreme GTX cooler with five copper heatpipes and three 90mm fans which are capable of cooling down GPU, NVIO, RAM and power supply module effectively.

Zotac’s custom 10-layer PCB comes with room for 16 RAM each side.

GTX260-896D3 sports 6+3 phase power supply design. The DPAK has been upgraded to LFPAK which is smaller and much more efficient.

The 6+3 phase design improves power supply efficiency to 80%. Besides high-quality MOSFET and lots of solid capacitance, the card is also equipped with a group of MLCC capacitances to reduce heat loss and bring down the temperature.

Zotac GTX260-896D3 features 14 Samsung 1.0 GDDR3 memory to form 896MB/448bit, and is coming with core/memory clock of 576/2000MHz. With the help of AC cooler, it should bring impressive overclocking ability.

Note: Good luck in RMAing Zotac... this one is shitty vmad.gif

Noob question here, if i change the stock cooler to after market cooler, the warranty will void?
*
It depends on the brand of ur gc.
For instance, Palit and Gainward do not allow it since there's warranty sticker on the backplate.
Other brands u can change back to stock cooler what...

Hey, guys. I'm mainly using my laptop for gaming. The detail spec can find in my sign.

However, I got a problem. Whenever I gaming for a certain period, the game will hang for a short period. After that it can continue to play, but sometimes the game will just crash or some of the graphic just run off. In the desktop there will be message at the notification area stated "VPU is not responding and successfully recovered"

How can I solve this problem? I'd downloaded the latest driver from Dell but it seems make it worst, so I reverted it to previous driver.
*
What game is that? If Crysis then normally will crash lah laugh.gif
8600M GT cant play latest games at highest settings lor. Try medium or low settings.
I cant play GRID at all... Using lappy to gaming is not really a wise idea anyway...

Hi, guys. The driver from this website

http://laptopvideo2go.com/drivers

Can it work on laptop graphic card? If I go over to Nvidia website, it would suggest me to download the driver from the laptop's brand website.
*
Yeah the driver works. Just download the exe + INF enhancer.
Extract the exe into a folder and put the INF inside the said folder, install by double clicking setup.exe.
It's done on my Inspiron 1520 powered by 8600M GT and it works great.
