Well, as I previously stated on other topic, heat is not the dafinate cause of 3RRoD but the chip packaging.

If M$ said they've solved the 3RRoD on jasper, it's most liekly they meant it since the GPU is indeed changed.

To reduce the change of hittin 3RRoD, I would advice to reduce the on/off cycle. means u on/off it for a long time rather than on/off it every few hrs to reduce the thermal stress on the chip packaging.

I loled @ all the 3rod preventive measure

MS business lol.for sure they will build their consoles not to stand up to 3 4 years.if not people would not change n their profit not increase lol.

Indeed people will change....but wont go back to MS....instead,change to other consoles coz sick & fed up of the dreaded 3rod. This is bad business planing coz MS image spoiled & consumer will lost confidence in xbx360..
