=.=" off topic!

when i meet new people, most of them are HK people, and when i talk my legendary Cantonese and they all ask me the same question, "Malaysian know Cantonese? keng wo"

and my face goes like this -___-" and then they all asked me am i malay or not, i go wtf..... again show this expression -___________-

I am chinese although my skin a little bit dark but my blood is chinese but i did tell them nowadays indian or malay know cantonese too and they give me the same respond... "keng wooo.."

speechless...

thank you Malaysia for not recognizing our country language.
*
haha i got tired of that. now i just say im malaysian who happen to know cantonese. some ppl are actually surprised i can speak english too.
feels good to know a couple of languages. i even appreciate malay now.

Lawl.
It depends what you're looking for though. If you like outdoor activities like bush-walking, mushroom-picking, camping, surfing, bodysurfing, rowing and shit, then it's good to go. Every awesome outdoor activity is on the coast of the island. So yeah, you might just wanna only go there.
Nothing to look at in the city, except maybe eating awesome fish and chips. And yeah, you might wanna have a car to travel if you're in Tassie. Public transport wouldn't bring you anywhere.
You getting kinky online yo.
*
u had to include shroom picking didnt u? damn stoner laugh.gif

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jun 7 2010, 12:58 PM)
I'm more of a city person.

so I reckon that I should leave tassie out of the priority list first?

ha ha
*
for a city person, it's either melb or syd i guess. all other australian cities are boganvilles or just boring. but syd and melb are pratically asian cities tho.
maybe u could go sheep watching in nz

QUOTE(empire23 @ Jun 8 2010, 12:04 AM)
You'll need to do only 2 things

1) Sit for a written test (50 bucks)
2) Sit for a practical test (87 bucks)

Extra tips
1) Go for at least 2 supervised driving lessons, they teach you the rules and stuff (should be 50 bucks an hour)
2) Always bring your passport and Malaysian license along
3) If you don't have a visa label, a VEVO printout is acceptable
*
so it totals to about 237 bucks?

does the RTA provide a car to use during the test? or do u use your own. and the supervised driving lessons aren't provided by the RTA are they

Driving: i mean, i see from the Vic road, that Msian license need to convert or sit for their Aussie license instead?
and some traffic rules different le... sweat.gif
*
i've been driving with my msian licence for almost 2 years now. the police accepts it.

regarding the rules, it's almost similar to malaysia, just be careful of cameras and hook turns if ur in melb. and stop at zebra crossings.
