I am chinese although my skin a little bit dark but my blood is chinese but i did tell them nowadays indian or malay know cantonese too and they give me the same respond... "keng wooo.."

It depends what you're looking for though. If you like outdoor activities like bush-walking, mushroom-picking, camping, surfing, bodysurfing, rowing and shit, then it's good to go. Every awesome outdoor activity is on the coast of the island. So yeah, you might just wanna only go there.
Nothing to look at in the city, except maybe eating awesome fish and chips. And yeah, you might wanna have a car to travel if you're in Tassie. Public transport wouldn't bring you anywhere.

As for driving, just drive lah, not rocket science and they recognize our lesen.

You'll need to do only 2 things

1) Sit for a written test (50 bucks)
2) Sit for a practical test (87 bucks)

Extra tips
1) Go for at least 2 supervised driving lessons, they teach you the rules and stuff (should be 50 bucks an hour)
2) Always bring your passport and Malaysian license along
3) If you don't have a visa label, a VEVO printout is acceptable
