Currently are consider moving in to OZ and had took the Point test under (http://www.workpermit.com/australia/point_test.htm) manage to score 120 point if I pass my IELTS test with at least band score of at least 6, other than that, I think will not be a problem for me. u will need to get your birthcert translated if its in bahasa
go to the naati website n look for some certified translators it's easy for most of them. just scan ur birth cert n email it to them, they will make a translation and email it back. and they charge about $20-30 for the service. yeah, rip off i know |

police check can only be done at canberra translation varies. it depends on how much the translator wants to charge. generally $20-30 per document u can transfer your visa to your new passport tho, shouldnt be a hassle. contact australian immi QUOTE(empire23 @ Sep 23 2010, 10:54 PM) Yesh, can be done with passport alone. u probably could Added on September 23, 2010, 7:56 pm I wonder if they'll allow me to translate my own shit if i have an NAATI cert. I know i can't stamp my own docs that's for sure, but translate is another story lol |

QUOTE(DarkForXe @ Jan 3 2011, 11:44 PM) guys, i am going to gold coast this coming june. what is the best way to go to sydney ah? wanna spend 4 days in gold coast and 3 days in sydney. anyone wanna give me free place to sleep?? wahaha fly. virgin blue or jetstarQUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jan 4 2011, 02:48 AM) disclaimer: i'm not intending to apply for an australian PR (just in case i'm being accused of sour grapes) LOL govt sectors and the police in australia are so incredibly inefficient it makes u wana both laugh n cry at the ironyso i will try to refute your reply above, point by point. 1. yes, tax rate is incredibly high. but you get efficient government sectors at your disposal as a trade-off (effective police department, relatively uncorrupted system et cetera). 2. there are also CGT & GST (delayed) equivalent in malaysia. besides CGT in australia could be a very powerful tool to maximise your cash flow via negative gearing (if you plan your investments strategically and wisely) 3. australia's EPF equivalent is actually the superannuation; in which you can still withdraw them out upon retirement. pension, on the other hand is completely different; obtained from centrelink (subjected to asset and income tests respectively) 4. you must be naive to think that the weather in malaysia isn't harsh. where were you when treacherous flash floods took place up north, klang valley et cetera? not to mention, the excruciating haze from neighbouring countries. and pollution. urgh, yes the pollution. personally, i don't feel the price for utilities are expensive if you are earning in AUD. 5. how's that different from malaysia? property prices are booming everywhere. 6. LOL. that is so excepted isn't it? forget australia, kindly look closer to home as a comparison. FYI, i doubt that there is such a thing as 'quids'; hence it is either 1 quid, 2 quid or 100 quid. unless you are referring to the american party fractions or my years in the UK has gone down the gutter. all said and done, the grass is still always greener on the other side |

QUOTE(y_owez @ Jan 5 2011, 10:19 PM) All applications must be accompanied with the statutory declaration u get it from a JP. it's free and they're everywhere. there should be a couple from ur uniattested by the commissioner of oaths except for the four countries mentioned above. Any applicant who fails to obtain the statutory declaration, his or her application would be subjected to security vetting (processing period is 1 to 2 months). In addition to the above, following particulars are required from the applicant. so where to settle the statutory declaration thing???? so if i get that, that it's faster???? |

QUOTE(y_owez @ Jan 5 2011, 10:28 PM) JP? justice peace something? yeah. they can be found in libraries, post offices, uni etcthere is one here : http://www.kln.gov.my:8080/ekonsular_on9/s.../akuan-biv3.pdf so who do I go to to get it signed for me? thanks a bunch, and if i have this, it's faster or still 3 months... sigh.. and the application says certified copies for passport pages, so i get it certified in melbourne and scan to my mum and she can just print it out back in msia? or needs to be certified in malaysia? i have a few copies certified by a pharmacist in melbourne the whole process will take probably 8-9 mths. or longer but after u submit ur application u will be given a bridging visa A so no worries there i dont think u have to get it certified in msia, cos u need ur original passport there for certification. however if they dont accept australian certified signatures then i have no idea. |
