Application for a Letter of Good Conduct (Police Clearance)

    Any application for Letter for Good Conduct can be made online via the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs homepage at www.kln.gov.my, under icon e-consular. The system will take effect on the 1st of January 2011.

Please follow the instruction given under the e-consular icon.

do i submit online application first or get the statutory declaration letter signed? which is at canberra first right??
anyone knows any 'lubang' ?? heheh

so if i apply now..then march my student visa expires..then i have to go back?

Added on January 5, 2011, 8:49 pmat the time you apply, you must submit evidence that:
– you are under 45 years of age;
– you have been employed in a skilled occupation for at least 12 of the last 24 months
OR you met the Australian study requirement in the last 6 months; and
– the relevant assessing authority has assessed your skills as suitable for working
i finish in july 2010 : so meaning i CANT apply at all now? cuz it;s pass 6 months??farkkk

student visa until march 15 2011

but i've completed my degree at RMIT on july and graduated december 2010
  why why did i delay.. sigh...

you hold a substantive visa other than a non-eligible Student visa and have also held an eligible Student visa in the last six months

so do I get it signed or submit the application & print then only show the JP the documents?

or I can go get the declaration by itself first

Lodgement of application

If you are an overseas student, you must lodge an application for this visa within six months of the date of completion of your course.

The date of completion is the first date on which the educational institution publicly notifies you that you have met the requirements for the award of your degree, diploma or trade qualification.

This notification can occur by:

    * letter
    * publication in a newspaper
    * publication on the internet
    * email
    * bulletin board at the tertiary institution.

This date should not be confused with the date of conferral of your award.  The date of conferral is the date that you actually receive your degree, diploma or trade qualification.
Example: Graduation ceremony.

12 july 2010 is on my SAC

15 december is on my degree

I have sister in adelaide ( which is PR ) and willing to sponsor me

I have competent IELTS  of overal 7.0 and im willing to take again to get average 7

I have done the ACS asssements in november and under ICT Business Analyst and it is on the SOL

studied degree in RMIT FOR 2 years

sponsored family i think it says i must be the only remaining relative and have no dependant parents ( my parents are in malaysia, and my sister in adelaide )

so basically im screwed huh>

2 months for me... they will email u saying it's ready

yea it is..u need to see if ur occupation is listed on SOL then u get 60 points.. if not then u wont achieve the needed points le..

so yea...FML.

If you have enough ppints, half the battle is won. If you have a good immigration agent, sure win. My immi agent approval level is almost 100% and fast. Less than 6 months.
