would you mind to clarify on the bolded sentence?

1. you can REALLY crack the 2.2.1 FW? yeah rite.  doh.gif
2. by charging an exorbitant fee of RM101 just for installing the Rebel SIM which anyone else can do? (heck, there are even guides on YouTube)
3. mark up price of items for more than RM50?

you didn't con TS. you just got the intention to con.
*
1. Rebel sim does it.
2. I haven't charge him. What for discuss about this?
3. You go to lowyat plaza, RM280, nobody discuss about it? I earn RM30 wasting my time to get from supplier in malaysia, no fair? If you can get from others, please go ahead. But if you buy it and the stuff is working, what is the matter to slander about imalaysian?

Hanx, I not pointing to anyone. Everyone have the reason to sell it with the price. You can't say anyone con or cheat if they provide u the product that is working. If price is the issue for you, then don't buy it, no one force you to do it. thanks hanzx. smile.gif

Thus far you have not and to set the record straight to 'prove your innocence', like Hanxz said, answer the points highlighted by Powerpuffs as brought up by TS instead of going off tangent in your replies. you bought from supplier at rm120, you sell to him at rm149, fair. BUT YOU DO CHARGE HIM RM101 MORE.

the point is, you did not mentioned that there's an installation fees in your website or prior to dealing with TS. and why does the price for accessories differ so much from what you have stated in your website when TS asked you about it? (marked up by RM50 or more)

if your website stated RM149 for Rebel SIM. then it's RM149. not RM250 unless you did state that installation fees apply. be transparent and clear.

the same goes for the price of accessories. not RM50 in your website and jack up to RM100 or more when dealing.

the issue here is not about conning in selling something faulty or whatsoever.

it's the issue about honesty and consistency.

Powerpuffs, we didnt charge him RM101, and we only sell the rebel sim without install it, we have the prior notice to change anything in the site . The price in the site is already fixed by our sales team due to suppliers price, so you can skip if you don't like it. Please, everyone have the choices, you can choose what you want, but have no power to change others. bear in mind.smile.gif

The problem of this thread is slander about imalaysian, our company site. So we have to take further action on this. Hope everyone mind their words.

Taking legal action will not solve the matter, infact you are at wrong, u charged for something u are not suppose to ? Did u issue a receipt ?

Dun u know the buyer can lodge a report against you ? "You did not even give the balance of RM1 to buyer back."

Can you explain all this scenario ?

Firstly :
"He then asked me if I am interested to get other products from him in the near future and started telling me what he has in stock. But the funny thing is, I have a good memory on the prices of things posted on his website.. when he asked me to look at his other accessories, he MARKED UP EVERYTHING BY MORE THAN RM 50.00. I just kept quiet and just left the place."

Secondly :
I asked where his place is and he insisted that he could meet me elsewhere and then proposed to meet in Taman Connaught. This got bad when I arrived at Taman Connaught and he switched the meeting venue and led me to his place in Bandar Damai Perdana.

Just explain the 2 above.
Then we all justify.

I reiterate first, I am trying to be neutral but your answers particularly for point 2, in my personal opinion, is not acceptable. The fact of the matter is you asked for the extra charge. The reason you were not paid is he refused. What if he had been bullied into it and paid?

Then on the point that shops at Low Yat charge high and no one complains....well, in those cases it is the law of 'Caveat Emptor' but in yours, it is providing unsolicited services which is expecetd to be free in all instances but you 'unprofessionally' asked not just for a fee but an exorbitant one at that.

Had you mentioned the service fee chargeable to TS before installing the SIM, there would be no problem except probably his compalints on how you gave him the run around.

Hope you know what went wrong here.

yes. you did not charge TS the amount but you did not state that amount in your website or prior in dealing with TS.

We will guide you how to install it if you do not know how to fix with this tiny little chip.

Price: RM149

If request for Post Express plus additional RM5.

if you had state that 'installation fees of RM100 (for example) apply' then it would be different story. TS would be informed about it and wouldn't be shocked at that final price you quoted him.

plus, you stated guide. which is expected to be something free.

Rattan, I can ask my lawyer to send him a letter to him anytime. Yes, police station waiting for the RM1 issues, we offer him to return back RM1, so if he ignore it, then who false is this? C.O.D need receipt? Sure, we email him anytime if he need it.

First question:
We have not mark up any price when customer come to us. Like Seidio casing, our site already state RM79, but we on the spot offer him RM60. Is this marked up RM50? My other client can be the witness, since he is also be there at the moment.

Secondly:
Well, I have an appointment with another client at bandar damai perdana and I have to change venue. So we have to ask him to come near our office area to do the C.O.D. He can reject it if don't like it, we never force our clients.

But now he slander about iMalaysian, that is the issue now we matter.

Well after your explanation, i guess its difficult to to justify... as it was all verbal (between buyer n seller, im being totally neutral here)

Its best if you clarify this matter with your buyer. thumbup.gif

The rest, all your statement is down here. I personally think mistakes happens, but your post should state clearly about your service charge, so this kind of incident can be avoided.

Finally, its a very good thing you turned up here to clarify the matter. Lets see what other members have got to say.

This is my piece. Not any following of other members. This is my honest points, not siding anyone. wink.gif

ohhappyday, i do not think TS is worried about the RM 1 or the receipt that you owe him or even the change of the venue OR even the markups of the prices. the crux of the subject is actually you *note this* TRYING to charge him another RM 100.00 which you yourself state in your description of:
"Do it yourself plug and play unlock sim card. This turbo sim is specially for unlocking 3G iPhone firmware 2.2.1"

Since its a DIY process how is it possible that you even try to charge an additional RM 100 for that ? Its not wrong if you want to do it, but since you never state it anywhere, not even in fine print that you'd be charging so exorbitantly.

By the way, TS did not say DO NOT BUY, he's not forcing anybody to NOT BUY from you or from your shop, he just merely say 'Becareful' when dealing with you since you did not provide the 'extra' information that you'd be charging people for your 'service' of putting in the sim card..

btw, i don't know about you, but I think you approached this topic in a very wrong angle in terms of public relations. What will people think of you when the first thing you start doing is dishing out threats about lawyers, police and court ? I can think of like 3 other ways in which this can be solved. The best is I think that it should've been settled with TS via pm and maybe come to a conclusive close with TS closing or editing his post. Now that you brought this up to this scale, I don't think that its going to have a happy ending for one of you and I have a feeling TS will have more support in this.

Just my two cents.

The seller is at fault and he is using legal ways to threaten TS into shutting people up. Either way, he can go $#@! himself and he will be $#@!ed if he do send a legal letter and it will backfire.

When the price is not stated, you cannot charge your customer for it. Dumb ass sales man don't know what he's talking about.

You are selling the product, the responsibility is on your to be transparent about it not expect the customer to ask or know about it. You have the information but you did not disclose it, this is fraud.

Send the damn letter if you so damn confident. Why need to talk to much.
