i'm wondering if the xbox dvd games out there are actually dvd with single or dual layer?

I know that wii and ps2 dvds are single layer.

how about xbox?

The original Xbox? If i'm not mistaken, same with PS2, majority in single layer and some in double layer dvd. Shenmue 2 is in double layer i think?

oh, so original xbox game onli a single layer la. i thought most of the games are in dual layer to have such detailed design and nice graphics.

What makes you think Wii games are single layer? I have Brawl, It's dual layer.

xbox is single layer and dual layer.
xbox360 is dual layer only.

Single or dual layer DVD format do not justify the graphic quality. The data contained inside the DVD did.

There're PC graphic demo with DX10 graphical detail & yet just merely 56KB. Of course this is done by utilizing some uber insane handcraft compression skill for showcase.

See the difference?

BTW, XBOX360 is using DVD-9 format.

Well actually, more space allows for higher resolution textures hence better looking visuals, more quality audio etc to be stored. So in relation to the question, just using a dual layer disc doesn't necessarily mean that it will look great.

how much is the X360 DVD games? more expensive than Wii games?
