Yeah, I've good speed for browsing now. Can watch Youtube without buffering and surf to heavy site like Facebook but can't open this page.
Some problems with the server of this site?

I hav the same feeling that the speed for surf net is ok right now..
website come out in a sec only.. and my gmail can login within 5 sec.

Guys, refer the picture. Is it normal?



One more thing, when using the modem in Windows, usually will get green light (mean slow speed available) but in Ubuntu, usually I easily get lighter blue color (that mean fastest speed). How come ah?

abnormal? celcom got edge meh? in the setting, i set to conect to 3G.
Setiawangsa got bad signal here, near the new JJ.

Well, some forummers did connect to EDGE too.

Well it is just a backwards technology and sometimes if there's no 3G signal you may opt for EDGE/GPRS.

I think realcheraz is using handphone as modem and now being capped.

really ? hmmm.... thats mean my hypothesis has been rejected.
finding some way to avoid from capped.

The capping is done to the account so no matter what you use to connect, as long as it downloads/uploads more than 5GB, you may prepare to be capped.

if i not paid the bil elcom bb for this month and already capped,
so the next month it reset for capped or not???

It will reset for you even though you haven't paid them.

My current torrent speed:

jealous la.... my download speed only 6kB/s
very pity...

Well, just wait patiently till your billing cycle and once your speed is reset; voila, who knows you will get faster than mine?

im still in haze about this billing cycle, till now i read some still say 1st of month, and some still say the date we signup

If you continuously not paying your bill then you will just end up getting barred from the service.

are you using the modem at the same computer at the same place? or same computer at different place? or different computer at different place?

try checking your setting, setting > change connection type , put a tick at 3g only

It appears on your bill, the billing cycle. Mine is on 24th.
Alternatively, you may check it out by calling the careline.

if call the careline, what question will they ask you? cause my father register this sim under his name.... so need the question
